When Teddy first met the sociopath, slightly-off-his-rocker magician Charlie Arlington, she had no idea what to expect. But whatever it was she could have been expecting, it was most certainly very, very wrong.
Once upon a time, she believed that magic wasn't real. Tricks, illusions, misdirection. That was before, of course, she met Charlie. After all, it's pretty difficult to pretend you're on fire when there's very hot, very real flames crackling around your face. And to think, that's only the beginning.
The journey that follows the initial meeting results in an adventure so epic, bards would sing of it for years to come-If there were any bards left, that is.
