Jade Maximoff: The Power Within

Introduction

5 Years Later... Jade sat down in her usual spot in the windowsill on the top floor of the  abandoned factory. She looked out at the night sky, now filled with millions of stars. Today marked the 5 year anniversary of the day Wanda and Pietro left, and Jade had pretty much given up all hope that they were ever coming back. This was also the 5 year anniversary of her starting life on the street. It wasn't all that bad once you got used to it. It had taught Jade to be independent and how to defend herself. The only thing that she could never seem to conquer was the constant feeling of loneliness that haunted her at all times. She wanted to cry, but she held back her tears, convinced that crying was a sign of weakness.
