So deciding what genre it will be having! A genre is if you want it to be a novel, a short story. If you plan it on being a part of a series of books or a simple standing book. Let me take for example, The Hunger Games is a trilogy of three books; The Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mockingjay. And Harry Potter is a series og 7 books; the Philosopher's Stone, the Chamber og Secrets, the Prisoner of Azkaban, the Goblet of Fire, the Order of the Phoenix, the Half-blood Prince and the Deathly Hallows.
When you have decided what genre you should start deciding what category!
The category is about what the book will be about. In teen fiction there're books about the teenage mind and teenagers life. Humor, there is a hint of humor and entertainment in the story. Though every story needs some sort of humor and entertainment for it to make people enjoy reading it it means that it haves more humor than other stories. The category is supposed to tell what the book is about!
