Hey, answer me...

What am I doing?

"Ah! There you are, Aomine!" Wakamatsu voice echoed and the blue navy haired male didn't have to look to know that he's angry.

"So?" He answered, laying his head back again, closing his eyes and letting the warm breeze surround him. "Is there something wrong with that?"

Wakamatsu tched, "Get your ass back to practice, idiot!"

Aomine yawned, "Nah, too lazy. I'll skip today. It's been a long time since I skip practice after all."

Wakamatsu was done. He was about to use his final weapon to bring Aomine to practice –which is burning his magazines (come on, you know which one, right?)- but the Ace from Teiko and Generation of Miracles beat him up to it.

"Do whatever you want with my magazine. Just don't disturb me today."

His voice changed. Wakamatsu and Momoi -who actually was here from the start but kept silent- understood this and slowly backed away.

"Fine," the captain turned his back, "But make sure you'll come tomorrow." With that, he left the rooftop with Momoi and Aomine. An awkward silent kept them company.

What the hell am I doing?

"I'm going now." Momoi turned around after a few moments of silent, "Get up quickly. She doesn't want to see you like this." Momoi walked away, closing the rooftop door.

A heavy sigh escaped from the power forward' lips. His heart ached just by remembering what day today is.

It's been a year. Since everything feels so cruel to him. Since the Aomine household suddenly became really quiet with no one fangirling over a band or crying over fictional character that died.

I feel lonely...

But you're here, right?

Aomine stood up. He stretched his limbs and took his bag before walking down to the stairs. He was walking to the entrance of Too Academy. There were a few people who stopped to greet him –mostly the third year who retired from the baseball club- but being a jerk he is, he didn't spare a time to look at them.

His foot dragging him away from Too, but his destination isn't his house. His destination right now is a quiet, cold place full of stones with people' name carved on it. His destination right now is a graveyard.

So shout at me

The same way you shouted when you saw Galaxy Standard holding a concert

Aomine stopped for a while when he reached his destination. He bought a bouquet of [Favorite Flower] from a flower shop beside it before walking farther.

He stopped for a second time, this time he reached his final destination.

He put the flowers he bought earlier to the ground in front of a gravestone.

Cry at me

The same way you cried when that character died

He put both of his hands together; closing his eyes and prays for the person who belongs to this gravestone. His sister.

"Dammit," he cursed when he felt water made its way to the ground from his eyes. "Ah, I don't want to do this." He whispered. Hand closing his eyes, head looked up to the sky.

"It's lonely here that's why I don't want to do it. You know I hate to do this alone, right?" He laughed at himself for talking alone. But he could imagine someone say 'I know' in front of him. Ah, he wishes he could see that person right now.

"Are you lonely there? I know you are." He laughed again.

Do something to make me believe you're here

Aomine finally open his eyes, smiling when a memory flashes through his mind.

"Wakamatsu is really noisy right now. He's been shouting at me and chasing me around the school just to make me join the practice." He sat on the ground, smiling and talking as if someone was there to listen to him. After talking for a few minutes, the male stopped and sighed.

"Ah, I wish you're here."

I know I'm scared of ghosts. But please do something

Well, even though I know it's impossible

Aomine stood up from his position. He raised his hand, flashing his smile –the one he always gave to Kuroko back then when Teiko was a team full of sportive people who aimed the championship, not the one where it was full of people with bored faces and defeat their opponent by making the scores different higher and higher.

"I guess, it's time to-"

Something soft and warm suddenly envelopes his hand. Aomine was about to jump and scream when something touches his forehead. A figure of someone he hasn't seen for a year suddenly came to his mind.

"[First Name]...?"

Aomine knows he's scared of ghosts. But this one feels different.

Aomine could imagine the figure on his mind smiling, and he lets himself smiling too.

"I'm here."

Aomine laughed again, a little bit disappointed when he felt the warm around him disappear.

"I know."

He smiled again and stood in front of the gravestone with a proud look. "Let's talk again sometime. I'll make sure I bring Satsuki here."

Aomine turned around and walked away from his sister gravestone, and then he walked away from the graveyard and making his way to his house.

For the first time, he didn't scare of ghost.
