Hope in the Night

4 1 1

Do you see it? Do you see it?

That dark path when you take

Illuminating before the step you make

Giving you vow

That there is no foe

Resting your bow,

Strolling at leisure

With the air so mild

Wafting the pleasant aroma of night

Do you see it? Do you see it?

Beyond the reach

The size taking your breath

From the standpoint of rugged terrain

The light is no glare

Painting a shady picture of white and gray

As the queen of dark

Enjoys the pint of sliver

The fusion all the more alive

Visible to the poor naked eye of human

Do you see it? Do you see it?

The dance of the critters and crawlers

The song of vibrant black birds

The calm and peace of the tress

The blooming flowers and fruits

The gentle breeze

The rustling leaves

Create alluring symphony

All in front of the big white ball

Do you see it? Do you see it?

How easy it is to fall in love

With such regal beauty

How everything appears to have

Its magnificence heightened

All because of the luminous orb

Emanate from cadged fluorescent

Yet unique in visage

Oh! Amaranthine;

You can only gander

As the dusk matures to dawn

Until the morrow

I hope to see it.
