Hey! So the last chapter was like a little filler, I thought that you guys would love to see what Mason was thinking. Sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes. I know that there's really nothing more annoying than finding a mistake then having to read the sentence like thrice before you get it….I try to make it as mistake-free as possible but some things slip under my radar….I'm sorry that I haven't uploaded in so long but my time management is just really poor…so I've decided I'll upload for a maximum of 5 votes and 5 comments…for now…so please just make me a happy girl...

Chapter 7
§ Sierra's P.O.V §
I had my target in sight, I raised my gun and and aimed as accurately as I could then with a slight squeeze pulled the trigger. I let out a whoop of triumph as I heard his cry of surprise and saw the splatter of blue on his back. I walked up to him, smiling very smugly indeed.
"What's that? The 100th time I've got you?" I asked.
"How do you keep hitting me! I haven't made a mark on you!"
"Yeah, It's a gift baby!"
"Well my masculine pride has been wounded enough for one night, wanna grab some pizza?"
"Great idea, I'm starved…besides, beating you was getting kinda boring."
"Yeah, yeah whatever." he said rolling his eyes with a smile on his face.
We walked over to the main building and pulled off all of our protective gear and handed our guns back in. James put his arm around my shoulders and led me to his car.
"So, anywhere particular in mind?"
"How about…Bennie's?"
"They make the best pizza in the world there, let's go!"
Half an hour later we were sitting on the hood of his car as we demolished an extra large pizza.
"The stars are really pretty," I said softly as I reclined onto his windscreen.
"Mmmh, they are…"
"So what's your deal?" I asked.
"My deal?"
"Yeah, are you the bad boy who secretly has a deep side or what?"
He laughed, "I'm James, that's my deal."
"Which means that you're a player who's secretly a momma's boy!"
"Am not!"
"Are too! I could smell it from a mile away…you scream player!"
"Then why are you here?" he asked curiously.
"I figured that one date couldn't hurt and I was right, my heart's still in one piece."
"Wise decision…so, Mason seems to like you."
"What's not to like?" I smirked.
"I mean, he's generally not a very outgoing person and you're…the exact opposite of him."
"He just needs a little shove," I replied.
"A little shove?" he chuckled.
"Yeah, you shove but not that hard."
He laughed again, "This has honestly been one of the best dates I've ever been on."
I sat up and looked at him and smiled right back.
"Me too."
We sat there looking at the stars on the hood of his car in a comfortable silence. He was holding my hand and it felt nice not amazing or whatever, just nice. I had my eyes closed so I only felt him shift into a different position. He squeezed my hand gently and my eyes flew open questioningly. As soon as I opened my eyes he leaned down and placed his lips gently on mine before deepening the kiss. I returned his kiss as early as he was giving it, he was nice to kiss, his lips perfectly soft but I didn't feel anything. He pulled back, his breathing a little raggedly and looked into my eyes as if looking for something. I raised my eyebrow questioningly.
"Did you feel that?" he asked.
"Uh, feel what?" I asked a little confused.
"Exactly," he sighed.
"Ok, you lost me!"
"I mean I really like you but as the evening's gone on it's become more of a hang-out than a date and you're more of a friend than a potential girlfriend. We have great chemistry but we only work as friends…sadly."
I laughed, "I know what you mean…so, friends?"
"Duh, girlfriend!" he said in a falsetto.
I nudged his shoulder playfully with mine and he chuckled.
"Gosh, I've made two friends in like a month!"
"What, don't you have friends?"
"Like 2 and that's only because we grew up together."
"Really?" he asked, disbelief clear in his voice.
"I'm not as outgoing as I seem," I said in explanation.
"Uh, the stunts you pulled at my party say otherwise."
"I guess my personality is just a weird mix?"
"Or you're just plain weird!"
I slapped him lightly as he laughed at his own joke.
"I better get you home before Mason gets too worried," he said jumping off the hood of the car.
"I'm sure he trusts you more than you think," I said as I got into the car.
James snorted, "Not with you he doesn't!"
I rolled my eyes disbelievingly and turned up the radio. Strip by Chris Brown came blaring through the speakers and I started singing along at the top of my lungs while James tapped his fingers on the steering wheel.
"You know, you're really good."
"Thanks," I said feeling embarrassed, "I just love music, it like speaks to me."
"That's cool, for me it's graffiti, I can just put whatever I'm feeling on a blank canvas through graffiti."
"That's awesome, I just make a mess of any sort of art."
"I'll give you a lesson sometime?" he asked as he pulled into my driveway.
"Definitely! Thanks for a great evening and a mediocre kiss." I said as I opened my door.
"Hold Up!" he yelled grabbing my wrist, "MEDIOCRE!"
"Yup," I said with a teasing smile.
"Honey, my kissing is anything but mediocre and if we hadn't just put each other in the friend zone, I'd prove it!"
"Whatever floats your boat sweetie!" I said laughingly as I jumped out of his car.
He gave me a smile, "Best believe that this, isn't over!"
