Chapter 2

*Brendon's POV*

"Smith! Someone's here to see you!" Frankie yelled.

He opened up my door and I got off my bed and walked to him. He cuffed up my hands and ankles and walked me to the meeting room. When we got there, I saw two people I was never planning on seeing for the rest of my life. I scoffed and sat down. "What the fuck do you two want?" I asked mad.

"Don't think I haven't changed Smith. I don't care if you're in prison, I'll still kick your ass." Dakotah said pissed. "And besides, I think Hayley wants to talk to you. So if you don't mind, I'll be over there in that little corner playing on my phone and talking to your best friend who also happens to be my fiancé. Play nice and I swear, don't test me Brendon cause if you do, you're going down." She said getting up and moving to the corner she was talking about.

"Are you gonna say anything?" I asked Hayley mad after three minutes of waiting. "Cause I can leave right now if you want."

"No! Please don't leave Brendon." She pleaded grabbing my hand.

"What are you doing here Hayley?" I asked losing my patience.

"Well, I keep having dreams." She told me hesitantly.

"That's why you're here? To tell me that you keep dreaming? Do I look like a fucking psychiatrist?" I asked pissed.

"About you! The damn dreams I keep having are about you!" She told me mad. "I keep having dreams about you and I having sex and it's killing me. I didn't wanna come here but I knew at some point I had to. I'm still in love with you and I hate it because you hate me and we could never be together again and I'm done trying." She said.

"Well I feel the same way Hayles. I'm still in love with you but I know we could never be together. Maybe our time has passed and there's no hope for us." I said.

"Maybe. But I do know that I can't stop loving you. No matter how much I try and see other guys, they just don't have my heart like you do." She replied sighing.

"What about Taylor?" I asked disgusted.

"What about him?" She asked confused.

"Doesn't he have your heart?" I asked.

She shook her head and told me that she hasn't seen Taylor since they graduated. We stopped talking and she asked me, "Why?"

"Why what?"

"Why'd you have to hurt that man?" She asked cautiously.

"Hayles, you and I both know that I would've died if I hadn't have done what I did. Besides, I didn't really care." I replied shrugging my shoulders.

"Well Brennie, you and I both know that's not the real reason." She told me.

"Why do you wanna know so bad?" I asked getting upset.

"Because I thought you changed." She said getting up and walking to Dakotah.

They were both getting ready to walk out of the door before I shouted, "It's nice to know I show up in your dreams doing what you swore we'd never do!"

She turned around and flipped me off before leaving. I swear I thought I saw a little smile on her face before walking out the door.

"Hey yo Frankie! Time to take me back to my cell!" I yelled. When I got to my cell, I laid down and couldn't help but smile.

*Hayley's POV*

"Thanks Dak." I said hugging her.

"Welcome Hayles. I gotta go Spencer's probably worried about me." She said.

"Kk. Thanks for taking me shopping." I told her getting my bags and keys.

"Again, you're welcome. Now get the hell out of my car." She said pushing me.

"Ok ok. Calm your tits!" I said laughing getting out of her car.

When I got in my apartment, I looked at the clock and set my bags down on the counter.

~7:45 Damn, we've been gone all day~ I thought to myself.

I walked in my room and turned the light on. What I saw made me freeze.

"Hello Hayley."

*Jeremy's POV*

"No Jeremy stop!" Kat screamed laughing.

I was on top of her tickling her.

"No I don't think I will." I said thinking about it.

"Come on Hairy Face please!" She said tears falling out ouf her eyes from laughing to hard.

"Why should I?" I asked slowly smirking.

"Because I'm your wife and if you don't stop you're sleeping on the couch." She said smirking.

"I'm up!" I said getting from on top of her. I grabbed her hand and helped her up.

"Thanks babe." She said kissing me.

"You're welcome Madame." I said putting on a British accent.

"No." She said walking away from me. I rolled my eyes and followed her.

"I got a call from Dakotah today." She said cutting up an apple.

"Really?" I asked, raising my eyebrows. "What'd she want?" I asked.

"She told me that her and Hayley went to see Brendon."

"Wow. I can't believe she would still talk to him." I said astonished.

"I can." She said eating another slice.

"Why?"

"Beacause he was her first real love and...partner.

"She never loved Taylor as much as he did and no matter what had happened, they would've broken up anyway. Taylor was like, her savior with all the crap that happened to her since high school started.

"She told me what happened between Taylor and her and she told me that even though she still likes him, he doesn't have her heart like Brendon does.

"She also told me that she loves him to death and if she could take back what happened between her and Taylor, she would. Jeremy, I hate to admit but, Taylor can never win Hayley back again. Not with what happened but simply because, she would choose Brendon over Taylor." She explained.

Wow. What she said makes perfect sense. "Wow Kat. You're smarter than you look."

She rolled her eyes and sat down in the chair continuing to eat her apple slices.

"So what does that mean for Hayley and Brendon? Do you think they'll get back together?" I asked.

"I don't know I haven't seen them but, if they love each other like I think they do then, yes. You know what they say Jerm, love trumphs all." She told me.

"I love you Kitty Kat." I said holding her hand.

"I love you too Hairy Face." She replied smiling.

Ok I'm really sorry for the short chapter (if it's even short) and for the ugly looking cover. My cellular device fucked it up yesterday morning when I was changing it and I tried again and did the same freakin thing! But it will be changed I promise. Hope you like the chapter and see if you can figure out what happened between our gang. This story could possibly be inspired by One Tree Hill. Idk I guess we'll see how it goes. \m/ \/ Pieaces
