In this chapter, I'm really about to piss some people off.
*Hayley's POV*
Here we are, at the Davis funeral. I remember the day Dakotah called me crying because they found Jeremy's body burned to a crisp. I cried so hard but stopped because, I couldn't hurt my baby.
Brendon held me and took me to the doctor for my checkup. I'm at three months now and let me tell you, this pregnancy is going by in a blur. I found out I was having a girl. Brendon cried because he was gonna have a little girl. I couldn't cry. I cried so much that I didn't have tears.
Now back to the present and I'm speaking. I didn't stay for long because my feet were starting to hurt. Everyone else, they talked a lot. Kat and Jeremy's parents comforted each other. Dakotah cried into Spencer's arms and I just sat there quiet and still, like a log.
Brendon would always whisper in my ear if I was ok. I nodded and squeezed his hand.
"Jeremy and Kat were the true definition of love." Kat's mom said when it was her turn to talk.
I let out a cold laugh and everyone looked at me.
"I'm sorry but they weren't the true definition of love. They still are." I said.
"Hayley." Brendon started.
"No! I don't wanna talk about them like they're gone, because they aren't. They're still here just invisible. They're angels with Bliss and they're sitting beside us. I refuse to sit here and let you people talk about them like they're nothing but dead meat. I never once talked about them like they're dead. I talked about them like they're still alive and they are. So, if you wanna talk about them like they really are dead, then go right ahead. But I won't sit here and listen to this blasphemy." I said getting up and walking out of the church.
Brendon followed me because he sat beside me on the bench.
"I knew that was going to happen." Brendon said breaking the silence.
"Ok." I replied.
"Hayley, it's not good to keep all of this emotions bottled in."
"Brendon just stop!" I exploded crying. "Stop acting like you know me because you don't! I just want you to hold me, not try and talk to me."
He looked at me and grabbed my hand. "Come on." He said.
I got up and he walked me back into the church. Everyone laid their eyes on me and I didn't care if my mascara was running. All I wanted was to curl into a ball and cry myself to sleep. Kat and Jeremy's parents gave me hug and I hugged back crying into their arms.
I said good bye to Bliss and Kat's bodies and said bye to Jeremy's ashes. Brendon grabbed my hand and whispered, "Lets go home soon to be Mrs. Smith."
I smiled at him and we walked to Brendon's car. He drove us home and I collapsed in my bed instantly falling asleep.
*The Boss's POV*
Aww look at her going off on Kat's mother. It truly is breaking my heart to see Hayley acting this way. I feel a little bit bad about having Jeremy killed. Oh well, she's slowly starting to break down. But in order for me to have complete control of her life, I have to get rid of that stupid guy, Brendon. I told everyone to stay away from him because I wanted to kill him.
After Hayley walked out of the church, I was about to go follow her but he got to her before I did.
"Damn it." I muttered to myself.
Otep, Cassadee and Jordan looked at me and I put up two fingers. They nodded and I called Chad to round up everyone.
"Listen Chad, I need you to spread everyone out. We are getting her and everyone else tonight." I said in the phone.
