"Get back here Styles!" Zayn laughed as he chased after his curly haired best friend through the street. Zayn was the quiet badass type of guy that will have you melting at first sight. He wasn't as tall as Harry but his muscles made up for it. He had jet black hair that was usually styled into a quiff and arms with so many tattoos one would not waste their time counting, unless they wanted to. Then that's a different story. And even though he looked hard as a rock, he was still the most lovable lad Harry has ever met along with his other two mates, Niall and Liam. There was a brotherhood between them that no one would ever dare to break. And Harry would like to keep it that way thank you very much.

"Not a chance Malik!" Harry boomed from his distance with a carefree laugh as he ran down the alley with Zayn's favourite leather jacket. "I think I look quite good in this lad, let me have a go with it on yeah?" he grinned and jumped up, grabbing a railing with his hands and hauling himself onto a balcony, his ink covered arms flexing their muscles as he pulled himself up with ease. Harry plopped down onto the ground with a breathy laugh as he sat and looked out to the sight of the city from the balcony of the old abandoned apartment which now he, Zayn, Niall and Liam claimed as their home. Zayn caught up to him ad hauled himself up on to the balcony as well and sat down to his beloved mate, which he usually calls his brother.

"Alright Haz come on, gimme the jacket" Zayn chuckled breathlessly "I chased nearly through half of the town.' he said with a pout. Harry grinned and slid the leather jacket off, handing it to Zayn gingerly "here you are, mate" he said and leaned on Zayn's shoulder as he lit a cigarette, putting it in his mouth and taking a drag. Harry usually loved these kinds of moments with his mates. Just sitting on the balcony and talking, maybe having a smoke or a drink here and there. It was all relaxing. They had a prefect view of the pretty town of Skylight in London. And it was great. But sometimes Harry couldn't help but feel like something was missing. He yearned for something else but he couldn't think of what it was. But what else would he need? He's living everyday to the fullest along with the three lads he loved most. He was king of the Rebels, what more could he ask for?

"HAZ!" Harry was interrupted from his rather annoying thoughts by Zayn giving him a shove "get your head out of the clouds and answer my question" he said. Harry looked up at him a little dumbly

               "What question?" he asked

              "Are you hungry?"

"Oh. Yeah, I am" Harry shrugged

Zayn nodded "Alright man get your ass up and lets go find Liam and Niall so we can go to the café. I'm sure you don't feel like cooking tonight." he said and patted Harry's shoulder. Harry nodded and stood up, taking one last drag from his cigarette and putting it out on the ground. He grabbed the edge of the balcony with his hands and jumped over it, landing on the ground perfectly and flipping his hair. Zayn whistled at him from the balcony.

"You might wanna go ahead and grab a coat Harry. You don't want Liam getting upset" He warned. Harry grinned at him and shook his head

"What's Liam gonna do?" He chuckled and started walking away. He stopped dead when Liam suddenly jumped down from the roof and landed right in front of him, holding a coat out.

"The same thing your mother would do if she saw you out here without a coat. You may be a bad boy but I will not allow you to be out here in the cold and get sick because you want to be cool" Liam said sternly, but still with a smile on his face. Harry huffed and took the jacket, sticking his tongue out at Zayn who was laughing from the balcony. Suddenly a contagious laugh echoed through the alley, a laugh that Harry knew to be the one that belonged to Niall. As if he was called, Niall peeked over from the edge of the roof of the apartment building with a smile so big Harry was surprised his face didn't break.

"Hey lads!" Niall greeted and shifted to sit on the edge of the roof "catch me Zayn!" he laughed. Zayn chuckled and held his arms out "ready when you are Nialler" he grinned. Niall nodded and slipped off of the roof, landing straight into Zayn's arms with a soft thud. Zayn smiled and set him down, ruffling his brown/blonde hair fondly.

"We're heading out to the café to eat cause Harry doesn't want to cook. You hungry?" Zayn asked. Niall gave him a look and raised an eyebrow

"Mate, is that even a question?" He asked with a laugh. Zayn chuckled and shook his head.

"yeah I suppose you're right about that. lets go then, Harry and Liam are waiting." He said and swung himself off the balcony swiftly. Niall smiled and followed suit, landing on the ground and greeting Harry with a handshake they made up and moving on to Liam with a big hug.

"Alright everyone's here, lets go" Liam said and headed out the alley followed by his three brothers.

                                                                               ~~

Louis stood at the counter of the café watching his best friend Perrie work the cash register.

"Do you wanna watch a movie later on when we get home? Stan is taking the rest of my hours so we can go home together cause he doesn't want me doing so much on my first day on the job." he said and played with her Barbie like blonde hair. Perrie smiled and nodded

"Sounds great boo. How about we order some Chinese as well, yeah? Maybe the delivery guy will be cute" She said with a cute little smirk. Louis laughed and smacked her arm lightly.

"Pez just because I'm gay doesn't mean that I have to go for every guy I see okay? Plus, a lot of the lads here are so boring. The ones at Uni are too fucking studious, then you have the absolute snobs and jerks, then there's the damn normal okay ones that you find when you get lucky" He mumbled. Perrie smiled and nodded

"yeah that's how it works here in town. But who knows? Maybe we'll both find our normal okay lads soon" she said and bumped Louis' hip. Louis chuckled with a shake of his head. He reached up and tugged at another one of Perrie's blonde locks. The little bell at the café rung again to signal another customer for Louis to serve. He was really going to like working at the café. And maybe Perrie was right, his prince charming could be waiting for him right around the corner.
