-2 years later-

I'm a little sun shy when the sun shines on the wrong day
And I believe my bed is a constant bearer of these sun shades
Cuz I'm a little sun shy when the sun light beckons I wake up
Oh, I wont wake up-

I grab my phone and turn off my alarm. Stretching, I get out of bed, and do my daily routine. I grab a light yellow shirt with the words 'Loyal' across it and black skinny jeans, then grab my black leather jacket. I stand in front of the mirror. A lot has changed in the past year. I told Mom about my troubles at school and she suggested up boarding school. I agreed and went to one California. I met a few friends, but I was kind of distant. I wanted to finish my Senior back here atAnyway, right after the orange hair incident, I dyed it light brown. I also got taller and started wearing contacts. I throw on my boot heels and grab my bag.
I went down stairs and into the kitchen.
"Hey Mom."
She turns around and smiles. "Hey Sweetie. Excited for your first day back?"
I smile back. "As much as I'll ever be."
"You'll be fine." She kisses my cheek. "Now shoo shoo. You're gonna be late!"
I laugh. "Ok Mom. I'll see you after school." "See you later, Hun. Oh, and don't forget to invite Andrew for dinner! Bye!"
I walk out the door. "K Bye!"
Walking down the driveway, I slide on my sunglasses. I get on my motorcycle and slide the key in. She's my baby and my prize possession. I smile and start down the street.
Riverdell, here I come.
-----
I pull into the parking lot. Parking it in an empty spot, I take out the keys and get off. I start walking over to the main office, feeling people's stares. I put on my RBF, and kept my head high. I enter the office and took off my sunglasses.
I see Mrs. Haynes and walk over to the counter. Mrs. Haynes was my art teacher at one point but wanted to start working in the office. She's a little old, but is the sweetest person you'll ever find.
I smile. "Hi, Mrs. Haynes. I'm here to pick up my schedule."
She looks up, then turns to her computer. "Name dear?"
"Kat Genevieve."
She looks up again and adjusts her glasses. Shock took over her features. "Katherine! Oh dear, I could hardly recognize you without your glasses!"
I try not to tell her it's Kat. "Ya. I'm back for my final year."
"Good good. One sec, I'm printing you're schedule right now."
She swivels her chair and goes to the printer. Coming back, she sits in her chair and hands me my schedule. "Good luck, dear. And have a good day."
I smile. "You too. "
I turn and make my way inside the main building.
-----
I walk into my first class and it looks like it already started.
"You must be our new student, Katherine. I'm Mr. García. Please take a seat."
I narrowed my eyes. "It's Kat" Then walk to my seat and sit down.
He clears his throat. "Well, we'll be starting Spanish 2. We will be going over Spanish 1 because you probably forgot most of what you learned last year."
So back at my boarding school, they only had French and German classes. I also filled out all my school credits besides a math class and an elective. I picked calculus and painting. I only have 3 classes.
"Helloo!" The guy next to me whispers and waves a hand in front of my face. "Do you have a pencil I can barrow?" I look at him and smirk.
Wow. Look who it is. Jake Howard.
"Ya, sure." I take out an extra pencil and give it too him.
"Thanks, babe." He winks at me and looks back down at his paper.
I try not to gag and start working on mine.
