The Nerd Who Cried Boyfriend- A Percabeth Fanfic

Annabeth had not expected for things with Kasey to go back to the way the were so easily, and she wasn't in any hurry to mess things up again- that was Percy's job.

Sometimes, she wondered what Luke would be upto; but when she thought that, Annabeth had to try hard not to let the tears fall out.

She could've saved him.

No matter how many times people said 'oh it's not your fault Annabeth', she knew it was- and so did Hermes.

All her fault.

It's all your fault, Annabeth, you worthless pile of garbage. The savior they say, like you deserve that title. You want to be a leader, honey? Well the only thing you'll lead them into is a disaster. Your mother herself is disappointed in you, she hates you infact. 

The room started spinning around her, Annabeth's breathing started to falter and her heart started to race. The voice inside her head only started becoming louder.

No powers, nothing. Worthless- that's what you are. All you have is that juicy brain of yours, your just like any other mortal out there.

Annabeth started gasping for air and fell back into the wall, clutching her chest. She couldn't ignore that horrid voice, for she knew it was right. Her heart thudded and she couldn't breathe, her chest tightening at the very word she was afraid of.

You're nothing.

Percy was fine.

Honestly he was! 

There were no monster attacks, no dying world to save. He could chill and study. 

Wow, those were some words he'd never thought he'd say in the same sentence. 

And he got to see Annabeth! He was dating the one person he probably had had a crush on since day one of The Terrible Life of Percy the Demigod- the day he first came to CHB. Basically, if Awesome and Amazing had a child, that mated with Fantastic and gave birth to Magnificent, who had a child with Magical- THIS would be the product! 'This' being their relationship of course.

Girlfriend.

He still wasn't used to saying that word, it felt unfamiliar on his tongue, yet so right that he couldn't resist saying it at every possible moment.

'You know Annabeth Chase, well she's my girlfriend... oh you don't know her, well you know she's my girlfriend?" "Hey, you ever heard of Annabeth? Annabeth Chase? Well, I'm dating her- she's basically my girlfriend.""Say hello to Annabeth Jackson- sorry, Chase, MY GIRLFRIEND... no I  will not shut up Wise Girl."

He went around telling everyone. 

Especially his mother, who was frankly quite sick of hearing the same things again and again- and as much as she loved her son, she really wanted him to shut up.

But Percy wouldn't shut up because-

All of  a sudden, everything went black.

This was because Percy Jackson, the Son of Poseidon, had been kidnapped by Hera- with his last thoughts going to Annabeth Chase.

Chaos ensues.

Annabeth had kept trying on Percy's mobile, but he wouldn't answer.

After her panic attacks, she usually just took some aspirin and called Percy to calm herself down. But if Percy wasn't picking up, how would she calm down.

Where was Percy?

Sighing, she dialed the only other person that could help her- Kasey.
