Evan was talking to a friend he had met on a cruise a few months ago. He just came out to her as gay and had mentioned that he has the biggest crush on another person from the same cruise named Drew.
"But he has a girlfriend," Evan said in a snapchat.
"I hardcore ship you two omfg," she responded. "I'm making you two a ship name!! DREVAN!! ITS OFFICIAL."
Evan and his friend were going on and on about Drew and a few other people for about an hour. His girlfriend was even brought up a few more times. suddenly, Evan received a text:
"DREW TEXTED ME, ASHLEE," he said joyfully.
"WHAT DID HE SAY??" She was eager to get updates.
"oh, no..." He was scared.
"What??"
"His girlfriend dumped him. He's sending me a bunch of suicidal messages. I have to go. I'll snap you tomorrow."
Evan left to go comfort his one and only.
He sent drew a message where every word had numerous amounts of love and he meant every one. It read: "Drew, you are a beautiful and amazing person inside and out. You deserve the world and more. I love you so much. I'm here for you. Please don't talk about yourself like you are nothing when you are everything."
Evan woke up the next morning with a text from Drew.
"Good morning, Evan. I just want to let you know that I love you and I've made plans to come see you in a few months. I hope you're ready for some company."
