It was about ten thirty at night and Evan was in the kitchen making pizza bites for a snack. Drew walks out to where his one and only stands: alone in the dim lighting.
He sneaks up behind him and moves his arms around Evan's waist.
He turns his head to Drew and smiles.
"What do you wanna do tonight?" Evan asks while savoring the warmth of Drew's body pressed against his own. "We could watch some Netflix, jam out to some music, or anything you feel like doing."
Drew turns Evan around to face him. His eyes sparkling like stars in the night, his lips look as soft as an exotic feather, his glasses resting upon the bridge of his puppy nose.
"I'm up for anything as long as I'm with you."
Evan moves his right hand up to cup Drew's face and starts to lean in for a kiss, but the moment is interrupted by the microwave alarm.
"why don't you go back to the room and I'll bring in the food?" Evan suggests while running his fingers through Drew's hair.
He walks back to the room hoping he'll have enough time to get changed into his pajamas before Evan comes in. He quickly pulls out his clothes and starts to undress.
"Hey, babe. Getting comfy I see," Evan sets down the trey of rolled up pizza and sits on the bed. He tries to make it obvious that he wants Drew to lie next to him and cuddle bit.
Drew looks at him and dimly smiles. He then climbs into bed with Evan and grabs the pizza bites.
Evan reaches his hand over to Drew's free one and grips it tight. Neither of them wish to let go.
After all the pizza bites were devoured, memories had been brought up, and news had been told, Evan grew tired. He pulled up the blanket from its perfectly made place and slid under it. After getting comfortable on his side facing drew, he gets the hint. He pulls up his side of the comforter and climbs in with Evan.
Evan holds on to drew tight with one hand at his waist and the other stroking his dark hair. As Evan begins to shut his eyes from exhaustion, Drew reaches up and removes the black, rectangular glasses from his soul mate's face.
Evan smiles.
Drew places them on the counter before turning off the lamp on the side table which also contained the empty pizza roll trey.
But before they both get the chance to climb aboard the train to dream land, Drew asks a very important question and Evan's answer was what Drew was hoping for: "Yes."
