MLP: My Journey to a New World!

Introduction

Honestly, I wasn't supposed to be a part of this adventure. It was supposed to be Shim alone. The only reason I'm involved is because Shim wanted me to join her. But it was because I joined her that I was able to experience going to a whole new world. Hold on, I'm going too far ahead. Let's start from the beginning. In case you're not up to speed, my name is Ken. I'm just an ordinary 16 year old teenager. Or that's what I thought I was, but about 6 months ago, I moved here with my sister and became the wielder of the 7th Element of Harmony. I also made 7 new friends at my new school CHS. I ended up nicknaming them Shim, Rare, Flutter, A.J., R.D., Pink, and Twi. About a week ago, I used the magic of my Element to defeat a dark spirit that had taken over Aki. Aki was now in Europe studying Stonehenge and searching for our missing parents. Shim and the gang are currently getting some R&R (hopefully) at Camp Everfree. Me? I had to stay behind since I had to cover a friend's newspaper route that week. My story begins on the day before Shim and the gang came back from Camp Everfree. It all started that day...

I opened my eyes. October 7th. Tomorrow Shim and the gang should be coming back from Camp Everfree. I got up and got dressed. I walked to Aki's room still half-asleep and turned on the light.

Me: Aki, time to get ready for...

I looked around to see that Aki wasn't there.

Me: Oh yeah. She's in Europe right now. I really need to remember that.

???: It's not your fault. You're used to waking her up at this time. It's just going to take some getting used to.

Me: Got that right Kamino.

That was Kamino. One of 2 spirits that reside in my Element. I have a crown that contains my Element. Kamino decided that the name of this Element would be the Element of Courage since my magic seems to be the strongest whenever I have the courage to do something I'm not used to. I just roll with it. In the past, we could rarely communicate in places other than my dreams, but ever since I defeated Dark Aki, I've been able to not only communicate with him outside of my dreams, but also SEE him outside of my dreams. I'm the only one who can see him though.

???: Um, good morning Ken.

Me: Morning Neko.

The other spirit inside the crown is named Neko. He only recently joined us so he's nervous about the fact that he used to work for Dark Aki. He still thinks we don't trust him.

Me: Why the hesitation Neko? Still think we don't fully trust you?

Neko: Well, yes actually.

Me: Dude, what's past is past. Both Kamino and I have forgiven you for what you've done. Just trust us. You have nothing to fear.

Neko: Well, ok.

Me: Right. Time for my route. Let's go guys.

Kamino: Right behind you.

Neko: Me too.

I always bring the crown with me wherever I go. I grabbed the daily newspapers and headed out. The route was easy with my magic and I finished early. So I decided to take the routes of the others too. I ended up delivering newspapers to every house in town. And the people back at the office were happy that they could take the day off. That evening, I decided to relax at the park for a while.

Me: Well, I'd say today was a very successful day. And tomorrow will be even better.

Kamino: Why because your little girlfriend is coming back?

Neko: Yeah. I know you're always thinking about her.

Me: Hey, knock it off guys. Shim hasn't responded yet so you can't call her my girlfriend.
