You were standing at my locker today. A bright yellow name tag was visible on your chest; the word VISITOR written at the top above your name "Nick Maxwell".

You didn't see me because you were to busy holding your new girlfriend's books, patiently waiting for her, just like you used to do for me.

When I saw you my heart imploded and I let out a loud gasp. My own books crashed to the ground with a loud smack. All eyes were immediately on me, including yours.  Your green eyes widened and your lips moved forming my name, "Jayla."

You took one tentative step forward but I was already gone, running down the hallway, fresh tears sliding down my cheeks.

I guess my heart hadn't yet accepted the fact that you moved on because you managed to break it. For the second time.
