Chapter 17

Eterna's pov

I was walking around the wounds with Loffy, she had this nervous look on her face. I tapped her shoulder to see how she was doing, she jumped higher than I thought she would. I started laughing, "e-Eterna that's not f-funny", I gave her a toothy smile. "Aw c-mon Loffy nothin will get ya out here, not as long as I'm around" I said, we walked a bit longer. Loffy suddenly jumped and urgently wispered to me "I hear someone, t-two people. They're really close". I heard it to, I kept closer and peeked at them. It was that wretched vampire fallacy, I couldn't see the other person or vampire. I could tell they were talking, fallacy caught sight of me and jumped to his feet, he spread his wings instinctively to try and look threatening. It was pointless trying to hide any longer so I step out of hiding, I wanted to know who was behind him but his wings blocked the view. "What do you want Eterna" fallacy hissed, "meh you know what I want I also want to know who your hiding from me" I replied. I heard nervous foot shuffling from behind him, I pulled out one of the wooden stakes on my belt. "Is it one of your little friends or have you you lost your marbles" I grinned, "well maybe I have gone a little 'batty'" (best vampire joke ever) he said that just to tick me off. I growled and tightened my grip on the stake in my hand.

Encre's pov

I couldn't let fallacy be hurt be Eterna, I looked down the cliff at the lake below us. It gave me an idea, before Eterna or fallacy had any time to do anything I grabbed fallacy from behind and fell.
