Vanessa's P.O.V
Tears run down my face as I gave him my weak smile after his bone crashing hug.
"Call me okay?" He said while he kiss my forehead.
"I will Damian,just promise me one thing?" I said to my bestfriend and he nods
"If something bad happens here please let me know!"
"Of course Vanessa I promise!" I smile at him giving him my final wave and start the engine and drive fast towards my new place in San Francisco.
I need to leave this town as much as I don't want to ,this is the best I can do for my friends who I treat as a family to keep them safe from any trouble that I cost them,they are all that I have.I don't have a family my parents both killed when I was seven living me with no one until I meet my gang who thought me how to be strong and how to fight for myself I can't imagine myself without them and I will never forgive myself if anything bad happens to them because of me.
I shook my head and try to shake any bad thoughts.I put my earphones and and listen to my favorite band 5SoS and focus my eyes on the road.
After two hours of driving I feel my stomach grumble,i think I need food I stop in a café called Jane's Café.As I enter the door I walk towards the counter and see a woman in around 40's typing something on computer.
"Uhm...excuse me?" I said to her causing her to look at me and give me a genuine smile.
"Oh hi sweetie! Uhm...I'm Jane I own this café." She said and offer her hand I shake it.
"Hi I'm Vanessa." I smile at her.
"Uhm so what do you want to eat?"
"Uhm can I have one chicken burger,one pepperoni pizza no crust,large fries and coke that's all." I say and she nods.
"Oh ok sweetie,can you kindly wait and seat the table over there ,my waiter is coming there within a minutes." She said gesturing the table near at the window.
"Ok!" I said and smile at her,I walk towards the table and waits for my order to come within a minute a waiter come with my order.
"Enjoy Maam!" The waiter said and smile at me I smile back at him and thank.
While I'm enjoying my amazing lunch that feels like heaven,my phone vibrate from my pocket receiving a text from Alexa but I call her Alex for short.
Alex:hi Vanessa I missed you already promise to take care of yourself.? :)
Me:uh I missed you too Alex I promise I take care of myself,I love you tell the guys I say hi :)
Alex:uh love you too.okay I'll tell them be safe ok? Don't get in so much trouble!:')
Me: yeah I promise :)
After I reply to Alex I put back my cellphone to my pocket and finish my 'heaven lunch'.I walk towards the counter and pay for my lunch.
"Hey Jane!" I yell to her before opening the door to go out.
"Yes sweetie?"
"Thanks for the great food!"
"Oh well thank you!" She says and smile at me I smile back at her and wave.
I walk back to my car and start to drive.I put my earphones again and listen to my favorite playlist.
(After 5 hours)
I stop in a hotel and park my car in the parking lot.I start to walk inside and go to the counter.
"Uhmm... I'll get bedroom for one night?" I tell the girl in late 20's.
"$65 for one bedroom! Is it ok to you?"
"Sounds great!"
"Ok so here's your key to room 204! It's on third floor,enjoy!" She said and smile to me.After I pay for the bedroom I start walking to the elevator with my one bag.
Finally I find my room 204! As I enter the room I realize that this hotel was a quite fancy.
After the my quick inspection in the room, I go to the bathroom and take my long hot shower.After one hour and half I get out of the bathroom and changes in some pyjamas and t shirt.As I'm laying on my bed waiting for my eyes to shut my phone beep from the lamp table,I took it and see that it was Raven who's calling his one of the gang and one of my very bestfriend actually.
"Hey Ray what's up?"
"Nothing I'm just missing you!" He said although I don't see his face I can feel his smirking right now, well I forgot to tell that this guy is really a charmer,and his dimples when he smiles is causing every girl to fall for him.But not me we're just really a best budd.
"Uhh...I miss you too Ray,where are you by the way?"
"In my room,how are you?"
"I'm fine! I'm in a hotel right now,tomorrow I still have 5 hours driving to finally be in San Fransisco.How are you doing by the way?"
"Fine,fine nothing new! Still girls running after me!Begging for me to fuck them"
"Ugh!your right nothing new!your still GROSS!!" I said with a bit annoyance in my voice.
"It's ok I know you love me!"he said with a teasing tone.
"Yeah right,by the way I'm so sleepy now,I call you tomorrow!"
"Ok goodnight Ness..."
"Good night Ray!"
And with that I hung up the call not waiting for him to response as I shut my eyes and let the darkness take me.
