Monsters?

Rapists on the corners,
Mob fires miles away.
Massacres happen in God's house,
And immigrants are threatened away.

Wars wage in the countries afar,
And kidnappers get to the woods.
Racists yell themselves hoarse,
And they never do anything good.

The clock is striking 11
And an idiot is pointing our guns.
He doesn't have consequences for his actions,
And common sense he apparently shuns.

Blood is pooling in our floors
As we attack each other's race.
Faces are painted black and blue
And the bullets are easy to trace.

Above and below,
From far and from near,
You can hear those shreiks
As the people appear.

Monsters are everywhere, you see.
Anyone who's said different has lied.
But the one that is most horrifying
Is the monster of picking which side.
