Henry unpacked as he looked suspiciously at his fellow contestants, especially Jane, who was on his right. Only problem? Everyone was looking at the contestant to his or her left.

Henry stopped looking at Jane and just unpacked. He slightly tilted his head, and saw that everyone was tilting his or head.

What the hell is going on? Is this the first obstacle? Yes, it definitely is. The last eight kilometers down the slope was weird. Everyone was walking while going to the cabin. Now, in the cabin, the curse still continues. Still unpacking, Henry felt the goo of one of the foods. “Yuck,” he whispered, and began walking to the faucet.

“What in the name of…,” Henry said. Everyone was still unpacking with their heads slightly tilted. He was the only one going to the faucet. You are free of the curse, Henry. Rejoice! Yes!

As he turned on the faucet, everyone suddenly appeared beside him while everyone looked confused. I thought… What? What?!

Everyone washed the goo off their hands and walked to the cabin again in a single file line. This is getting really creepy.

Henry still felt insecure due to the visions, along with the dizziness he got from the fainting after that. Also, his hand felt numb after washing the bag and taking out all the barf. The game didn’t even start yet and he was feeling really injured. He was going to get killed first for sure.

Well, you have your fighting skills with you. I think that’s a good sign. Yeah, it would, if it wasn’t for every single weakness he had right now. In the cabin, everyone seemed to have snapped off the curse. Everyone was doing their thing now. He quickly took the mission of deciphering who is who already.

He already knew CJ and Eva were villagers. The most obvious one would be the lovers. He looked at the cabin. Guess not.

Two couples were snuggling. One of them was a girl with luscious red hair and a guy who has a hat, shorts and slippers. No shirt. Wow. Why? Guess the guy was captured in the beach. Another was Jane and the “coolest” guy in our school. Another why and another wow.

A fair-skinned guy with some glasses on, a brown-skinned girl with a ponytail and a confident expression, and a girl wearing an, “I LOVE Sherlock” T-shirt were talking with one another. Now, were they cops or were they scientists? They looked like scientists, but again, in this game, you would never know.

I looked at CJ. He then shook his head, laid down on his bed and took a bouncy ball from his bag and threw it ahead. Eva, on the other hand, was willing to entertain me.

Henry said, “Hi. So…”

Eva said, “Listen up, Awkward. Only the two of us huddle at the same time. They might mistake us for lovers but I don’t care. We need to divert attention from our roles as much as possible. Got it?”

Henry said, “Okay.” They walked outside and smelled the fresh morning breeze. The cliff, when looked at from the angle they were standing on, looked like a guy in a coat with a knife in hand. Everything was green, except for some parts. They walked to the right. Henry ran back to his bag, took a piece of paper and a pencil, and started drawing a map. Apparently, the cabins were at the leftmost part of the simulation.

Eva said, “The simulation has got to be really smaller than we expected. Look! The hospital, and the law office are right there, separated by a big clock and a plaza in front. Then, parallel to them are the abandoned building and the experiment building. Other than that, nothing. Except the forest.”

Henry nodded, “So, that’s that. Let’s explore then, shall we?”

Eva smiled, “Sure.”
