Calum's POV
I drove over to Luke's apartment with sweat on my forehead from nervousness and worry about Ryan. Anything could have happened! Luke could have been a rapist and no one knew, or he...he- uh...I don't know! Anything could have happened!
I kow what your thinking, You don't even trust your own friend?! But I do trust Luke. It's just that I haven't known him as long as I have known Ryan and as you already know, I am very protective of her.
I finally arrived in the driveway of his apartment, seeing Ryan which relieved me in ways no one could imagine. Sorry that sounded gay.
Ryan saw me and smiled while walking over in her black sandals. I could go on and on about how beautiful she looked today, but she caught me staring in which I turned around swiftly.
"Hey Calum! Thank you so much for picking me up babe. I can't even trust Haley anymore, that bitch" Ryan stated angrily.
"No problem anything for you" I smiled and she looked over at me with a chuckle that found a way into her mouth and eventually mine.
"You know, we do everything that a boyfriend and a girlfriend do except kiss" She said with realization in her voice.
"Ya now that I think about it..that's true" I said cocking my head to the side.
"Oh! You, Luke, Maggie, Molly, and Laina are coming over tonight for a movie night!"
"Luke, really?" I questioned.
"Why don't you like Luke?"
"You think hes a rapist?" Ryan said laughing.
"You know, thats exactly the thing that I thought when I was driving over to Luke's apartment.
"Speaking of Luke's apartment, how is it so nice? It looks like a million bucks" She said with a snear creeping onto her face.
"His parents are rich as anything, they are billionairs" I said leaning my head back for enphasis on the billionaires part.
"Wow, I hope he doesn't think that I'm his friend because of his parents, or should I say...his parent" She trailed off in the middle of the sentence. Then it dawned on me.
"What do you mean, parent and not parents?"
"He didn't tell you about his mom?" She asked surprisingy.
"No, what happened?" He's known her for a day, hes known me for two months, I find that kind of odd.
"His mom had a rare disease and she passed almost instantly" Ryan said keeping her head down playing with her thumbs.
"Wow, I find it odd that hes known you for a day and he tells you about his mom, but I've known him for two months and he doesn't tell me anything" I said smiling letting Ryan know that it was okay he told her.
"Maybe he feels comfortable around me I don't know" Ryan said as if she didn't know he liked her.
I finally arived at Ryan's house noticing her mother's car in the driveway.
"Your mom must be back"
"Ya finally, I am so sick of her buisness trips" Ryan said grabbing her things off the seat and and slamming the door smiling through the glass.
I smiled back and rolled out of the driveway leaving Ryan to walk up the steps to her front door.
I moved into the street and pulled away from Ryan's house not looking back.
Ryan's POV
When Calum dropped me off, I noticed that my mom's car was in the driveway and I couldn't get into the house fast enough. I had the biggest smile on my face and nothing could stop me!
