It was a peaceful day in Australia , when a family of 3 planes on sailing out to sea for only 1 week. As the father prepared the ship for a lovely voyage across the Great Barrier Reef. It was to be a marvellous vacation filled with fishing, swimming, scuba diving and more.
" When are we leaving! When are we leaving!"said Amethyst with a smile on her face.
"Oh sweetie, we aren't leaving until tomorrow," giggled,Isabelle, the girls mother. "We are just getting ready for our vacation. It will go quicker if you help out with the sandwiches. ".
"Never mind. I'm gonna go hang out with some friends."
The wind was blowing the sail around, as the father, Don, tried and tried to tie it down. The sun started to set, and the family started to get ready to sail the next morning.
By the time they got home, the sun was set, and you could start to see the stars and the moon.

It was morning now and the whole family was ready to go.
"Come on mom, hurry dad lets go!"
"We're coming. Do you have your camera?"
" Yes mom."
As everyone got onboard the boat, they herd a light and gentle meow. They all looked around only to find a little grey kitten with it's tail caught on the extra rope.
"MOM DAD! GET THE KITTEN! Hurry Hurry! I think it's hurt!"
"It's going to be ok little guy. Amethyst get a little bowl of water and some fish."
Isabelle and Don tried to get the kittens tail out of the tangled rope. One more not to go, then the kitten was free.
"Here is the water mom. Can we keep it?!?" Asked Amethyst with a hopeful grin.
"I don't know about that. Don, what do you think?Isabelle said, hopping the response will be no.
"Sure. I think it will teach her responsibility. I had a little kitten when I was her age. It's name was Toby. He was the cutest little thing.
"YAY! Thanks mom, thanks dad! I am gonna name him, Augustus." Amethyst said with delight.
"Ok then, get Augustus in the living corders so he doesn't fall out. We will have to get some cat food before we go."replied the mother with a half smile on her face.
After Isabelle got the food she came back to set voyage. With a pull and a push, they were out. Off the pear and ready to have the time of there life.
