Friday Night...
If I had one wish, I would wish that he'd be mine, I'd wish that I shouldn't have left him. I wish...
I looked in the mirror, I saw a tearstained, bedraggled girl, barely recognizable, is this the Park Chorong that they all love? The girl who conquered the world with her music??
I don't even know who I am anymore...
I sighed and went back to bed, sprawled on the fleece blankets and pillows. Do I regret meeting him again? Yes.
I regret not even telling him how I feel.
He thought I was out of his league, but he wasn't...
I loved him for who he is.
My cellphone rang, I picked it up and put it on speaker.
"Where are you?" The voice in the other side said.
"I'm not coming." I said. "I just can't."
"Chorongie, what's this about?" Taeyeon asked.
"I just can't..." I said, tears streaming down my face.
"Chorong? Hold on, we're coming there ok?" She said, then hung up.
I had a good cry, he was the reason why I'm here, Jin... Kim Seokjin. The boy who loved me, but broke my heart...
Flashback...
Thirteen Years Ago...
Today was the day that I'll finally tell him... I, Park Chorong, will finally tell him that I love him.
I went to our usual spot, the rooftop, he, Kim Seokjin, was my best friend. I fell for him back then when he saved me from those thugs, ever since our eyes met... I knew, I was head over heels with him.
I don't care if he's fat, or scary, or the most feared thug in our school...
He saved me, he has the kindest heart I know, and I love him...
No matter what.
As I sat and waited at the roof of the entrance, the door opened and there he was...
With another girl?
"Oppa..." The girl, Kim Hyuna, said. "Oppa, I like you, and for today I want you to be mine ok?"
As expected...
I stayed silent the whole time, she snaked her arms around his neck and kissed him. He broke it, and led her out of the rooftop.
As soon as they vacated the area, I hopped off the entrance's roof and ran back inside, crying.
I shouldn't have seen that.
I saw him, he looked at me, worried.
And that was the last thing I wanted to see.
I ran back home, by myself...
As soon as I came home, I saw the mail... It was an acceptance letter.
Ms. Park Chorong,
Congratulations, you have been accepted in YG academy here in Detroit, USA. Please contact us for more details regarding your acceptance and enrollment. We hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely Yours,
President Yang
I looked at the acceptance letter, if I accepted this...
Would I be able to forget everything else?
I stared at the letter then turned to my laptop, it's a decision that would change my life...
I gulped and took the laptop, opened it and began to type...
To: YG Academy
Good day,
this is Park Chorong, I would like to ask about the enrollment date...
End of Flashback
I looked at the ceiling...
"I wish..." I whispered to myself.
Suddenly, my phone rang, ruining the moment, I groaned and picked it up.
"Listen, I am not in THE MOOD TAEYEON!!"
"We're right outside, Chorong." She said. "Okay, I'm going to use the spare key."
I heard the door open and footsteps shuffling to my room.
"Chorongie?" Taeyeon asks, opening my bedroom door slightly. "Can we come in?"
I sighed and nodded as Soo Bin and she entered the room, Soo Bin hugged me as she saw me. Taeyeon sighed.
"Chorongie, I know it hurts... It's just one party, can't you come?"
"I'm trying to drown in my feelings." I said, sarcastically.
"Chorong, he's waiting for you..."
I sat up and sighed.
It's like that all over again, he's waiting for me again... And stupidly, I thought...
I can't make him wait again, no matter what.
"Okay, fine... I'll go."
"Yay, and to show our deepest gratitude for you, we will personally give you A MAKEOVER!!" Soo Bin says, jumping up and down.
I gulped as Taeyeon rummaged through my closet while Soo Bin went off to find shoes...
Oh dear... Where is Bae Joohyun when I need her...
