Seokjin POV

I sat on my table in Taeyeon's party, she ran off with that Chae Soo Bin in the middle of her party to take care of some "business" leaving Irene to host the party...

So far, I'm in my first glass of this vodka when Jungkook, my friend who was clearly drunk too much wine again, came up to me.

"Some party, eh Seokjin?" He said, sitting beside me.

I nodded as he continued on talking about Soo Bin's appearance tonight, Taehyung's absence due to his business pursuit in Paris, Baekhyun's desperate attempts to woo the original host of the party, Taeyeon, even on the phone... He went on and on.

"So, I was thinking... You know Park Chorong?" He asked. "You know, Singer, model, songwriter? The Park Chorong? Rumors say that she's coming here... Do you know?"

I smiled slightly. "I guess so."

"Seokjin, you little... Don't tell me, you fancy her?! Sorry bud, but you are next in line."

"Huh? Why?" I ask, confused.

"Well, some news has been spreading around the internet about her being in love with some guy since her High School days, pretty cute."

I felt a slight pang of jealousy. She was in love? With who?

Ever since High school, she already made a point that she can't fall in love just yet.

Was that the reason why?

I have to say, the guy whom Chorong is in love with is really lucky...

You can never find a girl like her anywhere else.

Jungkook patted my back and left as I downed another glass of vodka and refilled it again.

"Drowning yourself in your sorrows?"

I turned to the very familiar voice... It was her.

"Rongie..."

She sat beside me and asked for a cocktail. She looked beautiful tonight, her hair was tied up, and her black dress hugged her curves in all the right places, her makeup done just right.

"Well, I'm here... Let's drown in our sorrows together shall we?" She said, enthusiastically.

She sipped on her cocktail and made a face. It was so adorable, it made my heart ache...

Do I still...

"So... Some say you were in love."

She looked at me, surprised. "Wow, me? In love? Haha, oh Jin we both know that I can't."

"Well, then... What's holding you back?"

"... Let's just say I'm afraid to get hurt, Jin."

"Get hurt? Love will always be accompanied by pain, Chorong."

"Jin, you don't understand. I've been there... I've always wanted to tell him. But I guess someone beat me to it."

"You were there..."

I looked at her, and she shot me a questioning look.

"You were there..." I said. "When I talked to Hyuna on the rooftop."

She ducked her head. "How did you know?"

"Somehow, I felt someone watching us, and I saw your handkerchief on the ground. I knew..."

I saw her eyes wandering. "It's so disturbing... Kim Hyuna liking you. That was a bit scary."

"Yeah, well I did tell her to back off... I knew that she would only use me to get closer to HyunSeung."

"Oh... But she kissed you."

"It felt wrong." I said.

We drank in silence, then she spoke up. "That was also the day I got my acceptance letter."

I nodded slowly as I asked for water.

"Leaving felt wrong, I never got the chance to tell him how I felt... I just left him... Jin."

"Was that why you cried?"

She nodded.

"And... Every waking moment, my thoughts would drift towards him... I regretted it, because even if I thought leaving would help me forget, it turns out that it just made me remember everything."

I sighed. "Sometimes, just leaving the problem won't solve it."

"Well, how will my problem be solved then...? He probably won't return my feelings anyway." She said, frowning.

"You can always tell him, to get it off of your chest."

She then faced me. "Well, can you help me?

I smiled as I faced her. "Sure... Pretend that he's me, then tell me what you wanted to say."

She looked down and cleared her throat. "O-okay... I guess I'll try."

I nodded.

"It's been thirteen years since I last saw you. And for three years, we've become close. Somehow, I knew... That I'd fall for you, even if it seems impossible. I loved how you used to hang out on the rooftop, or when you bought us stuffed bears and named them after us, I loved how innocent and warm you are inside even if others think you're scary, I love everything about you."

I turned and saw her seriously looking into my eyes.

"Three years I've longed to tell you that ever since you saved me, I fell in love with you. Unexpected as it may seem, I'm serious. Even if people tell me you're not kind or you're scary and not really appealing, I didn't mind them, because I knew who you really are, and your kind heart is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen... And I love you for that. And now, I saw you again."

"C-Chorong..."

"My heart leapt in joy once I saw you, I have been waiting for you, and you've been waiting for me. I never want to do the same thing all over again. My heart ached for you, I... After you told me what you've felt for me before... I was... Well, disappointed since I was a bitch for leaving you... And I didn't even have the chance to tell you... All I'm asking now... Isn't for a second chance at love, but at least... A second chance at being friends. But always remember that I still love you... No matter what... Jin."

I looked at her, she was serious and a tear fell out of her eye, I wiped it off and said.

"All this time?"

She nodded. "So... Friends?"

She offered her hand, and heartbreakingly, I shook it, sealing a promise.

"Friends."

A/N: She finally confessed to him!!
