Other players also made their own teams with their respective chosen people. Some formed a trio, and some even formed a small group consisting of not less than 10 members. When everybody started to leave the area, Nex decided they should also do so.
"I'll ask you guys, should we directly go to White Clover Village or stay here and gain some levels first?" Nex said.
"The manual says it is easier to travel to long distance places if a player has a sufficient amount of strength and a good level in him." Fawn retorted.
"Aren't you too fond of those manuals?" Nex mischievously asked.
"Well, that's Fawn and all. Haha! So all we need is to gain levels right? Come on!" Jake eagerly shouted and he stormed out of the tree first.
Trails of several players and other teams are scattered all over the place. Some are leaving and some decided to kill time and enjoy staying there. The once extremely crowded clearing became so quiet in no time.
"Let's roam around the area, we will surely find some able monsters." Nex led the way after overtaking Jake to a cluster of fig trees.
"These trees are so realistic. What an amazing job they did. And look! The texture's also the same!" Fawn rushed to a smaller tree and brushed one of its tiny leaf.
"Just don't let your guard down. Unfortunately we are one of the weakest creatures here. Prepare your weapons." Jake unsheathed his twin daggers revealing a shiny curved blade. Fawn brought her weapon to her front, and Annie flap her wings to be a little bit higher than them.
The air around is so tense. The quietness in the area did not add to the excitement they all felt as they search for monsters but they only discover Domestic Monsters which do not gain them any Experience points nor give them a valuable item drop except for meat and bones.
A small rustle of bushes caught Annie's attention and everyone else's. Herds of Wild Dogs leaped out of the thick grass and landed on them surrounding all four of them.
"Fawn! Take guard atop a tall tree and prepare for a single wipe out attack!" hardly, Nex ordered the elf lay that gave him a nod. Fawn jumped to one of the higher trees nearby and took cover while concentrating on a skill she really wanted to use.
"Annie! Fly higher!" Jake ordered. The two young men made a fast sprint on two different routes. The one with the Longsword dashed forward with his weapon on the ready whilst the one with the daggers dashed sideward, disappearing in the shade of the tree.
"Take this! Solid Slicer!" Nex used a familiar sword skill taken from one of his favourite RPG online games. His sword glowed and his attack power has increased. Each monster who got hit is easily disappearing in his wake.
"My turn. Ripping Rogue!" Jake muttered while re-appearing behind a Wild Dog and dismembering it's head.
"My brother is strong." Annie from afar said but she only heard what she said.
Jake's attack caught another Wild Dog's attention. It dashed forward and leapt at him that he did not have enough reaction time to respond so he followed his instincts and his hands worked on its own. He covered his head and the monster hit it with a scratch that pushed him slightly. The attack took a lot of points from his health.
"AAAACCKK!!" he cried in pain while his arms still continue to be covered in virtual blood.
"Oh no. Brother!" Annie shouted from above and tried to rescue his brother. "Violet Volt!" Her wand spat a very deadly bolt of violet lightning that instantly burned off the Wild Dog who assaulted his brother. She released a few more lightning bolts that rammed several monsters and even took down some trees. But after releasing such powerful attack, her mana is dead over and she started activating her passive skill.
