Peace are born from wars.

The clashing of weapons released a thunderous spark that scattered in the area. The wind was full of pressure as each player pushed each other with great strength. They clashed and clashed and the battle went on for several hours with no movement wasted. Jake and Nex leaped again and clashed. The Longsword met the Twin Daggers and their strength was equally matched.

"Shadow Gleam!" Jake seriously chanted as a dark grey magic circle appeared in front of his left hand, circling it infinitely and streaks of explosive black smoke came out from it, it hurriedly made its way to Nex who held his sword in front of him, preparing to counter the magic assault of his friend. A shining blue magic circle appeared just a few inches from the soles of his feet and his body released a bright ocean blue aura that became stronger as seconds pass by. The aura moved from his body and flowed to his weapon covering it like a blanket.

"Where there is shadow, there will always be light! Blazing Sky Arc!!" he released more aura that sends an edgy feeling. The blue aura on his sword materialized as blue flames! It formed an arc that met the black smoke of Jake's.

When the two attack came in contact, it sent out a deafening explosion all over the area. Two women raised their weapons and formed a barrier to protect them from the explosion and the shockwave. "These two are just monsters, how did they even achieved that strength in just a short time?" the female one with pointy ears and a pale blonde hair said out.

"Uh-uh." The smaller girl with white wings replied in a passive tone but can be understood that she is getting a hard time putting on defense. They are both grunting when thankfully, the explosion stopped.

Moments later, the smoke disappeared and revealed a huge crater on the ground. Almost everything in that area of the forest were put to ashes. In the middle of the destroyed forest stood Jake and Nex who were both unscathed. The man on the right sheathed two of his daggers and walked to meet the man who had put back his sword to the way it was. They did a manly hug when the both of them met in the center of the rubble.

"You rock Nex!" Jake exclaimed.

"I could say the same thing." The other replied. They looked at their surroundings and at the same time the two women ran to them.

"I can't believe our powers had done this." Nex went on after he realized what they had done to the once beautiful forest.

"Trees will still grow back and the terrain will be covered with grass so there's no problem with that. But the feelings that are lost, will never grow back." Jake said after heaving a deep and meaningful sigh.

"And, there goes Mr. Emotic. Seriously? She's not worth your time. Remember, if she loved you a single bit, she won't come with another loser boy, even here in the game. Face the truth, that woman, was a slut." Fawn advised. They were talking about this woman player whom they met and she "fell" for Jake, but the truth is, she just wanted to test what it feels like to make love inside the game. Thankfully, Fawn discovered it and reported the matter to Nex, who in turn, suggested and told it in a very nice way.

"Yeah, yeah. I know, I just want you to know that I have learned my lesson." He replied. "That girl was... never mind"

"Good talking." The other man said.

"*Sigh* Anyway, how long has it been?" Fawn asked after descending from her favourite place, the trees.

It was several months ago when the four of them met each other in a huge clearing along with the first launching of the game. At first, it was a bother playing at weekdays because of their school works, but later on, each of them finally started to cope up. Sometimes, they even use Second Earth Online to help each other when a test or an assessment arrives. It was a tough life for everybody who is both enjoying the real world and the virtual world. It is also an incredible thing to think that the four of them were able to equally manage the affairs of the two worlds. Studying here, training there, working here and exploring there. Each day was full of both experience and tiredness but on the other hand, it was also worth the sweat they had shed.
