Immediately, panic started to set in and my mind went blank. "Oh my god..." I said under my breath. My eyes whipped around the room, waiting for her to jump out and giggle. My eyes found my phone and I ripped it out of my pocket. I didn't know what to do. Tony. He... He would know what to do. I violently turned my phone on and scrolled through the contacts. Regina, Ronald, Sierra, Tony! I smashed my finger against my phone, almost breaking it. It rang as sweat beaded on my forehead. "Come on, pick up pick up pick UP!" I whispered urgently. I heard a crack and then Tony's voice. "Wh... who is ... it?" Tony sounded like he ran a mile. "Tony!!! I need your help!" I yelled into the phone. "Oh. It's you." he said quietly. "I have other calls to make. You remember Angela, right? Well she-" I cut him off really fast. "This isn't the time!!! My mom... she... she's gone." I whispered, holding back tears. His tone enraged me. "Dude. Your mom has been dead for like, since you were born. You told me that yourself. Now if you'll excuse me, I have more important-" He began to say, but I snapped. "DO YOU THINK THIS IS A FUCKING JOKE?" The words exploded out of my mouth like a nuke. It was the first time I had cussed in a while. "Look! I don't have time for this BS. You don't have to lie to get attention! Like I said. I have more important stuff than this! GOODBYE!!!" He yelled. "I opened my mouth to yell at him again, but he had already hung up. Enraged, I kicked the bed. Why was everything so... so wrong?!

That night, I cooked dinner for myself. "She's just took a little trip. No harm." I told my self over and over again I knew it wasn't true. I put my self to bed. "She will come back. She WILL." I couldn't sleep. Everything was wrong. So wrong. Something was wrong with Tony. He MET my mom. How could he say she had never been here? I had never told him that my mom was dead. The dream. Was that it? In my rain of thoughts, My vision began to black out. "Sleep" something told me. It's voice was seductive and persuasive. I closed my eyes and drifted off into a warm slumber.
