The Monster Under The Bed

15. Haunting

Autumn and Jongin go back to their rooms when they hear the meeting between the others ending. Autumn grabs extra clothes and, as an after thought, a bikini in case Kyuhyun decided to invade her bathing again. She goes into the bathroom and turns on the shower as hot as it goes.

As she waits for it to heat up, she decides to try using Leetuk's power. She bites her lip as she changes and decides to try it out on Sehun, who should still be sleeping. She would've done Chen, but then she remembered what a pervert he could be, and those were images she didn't want to see.

"Okay, now how do I do this?" she mumbles. She thinks about Sehun and focuses about how she wants to basically be him.

After nothing seems to happen, she sighs and opens her eyes to find a shaky landscape of a farm before her. She gasps when she realizes she was inside Sehun's mind.

This must be his dream.

It was strange seeing through Sehun's eyes.

At the edge of the field, she perceives two boys. One of them she immediately recognizes as a younger Sehun, probably about fifteen or sixteen. The other was much smaller, maybe seven or eight.

"Sehun, can you make the wind play?" the younger boy asks, tugging on Sehun's sleeve. Sehun smiles him and nods.

Instantly, the wind picks up and lifts leaves in a miniature tornado around them. The image shakily zooms in so she can see the boy smiling.

The scenery changes and she sees Sehun holding a squirming something down in a bucket of water. At first, she assumed it was a fish, as he was by a lake. Then she hears a small mewl. He was drowning a kitten.

The smaller boy comes running and knocks Sehun down, an older woman following behind. She assumed this was his mother. And she looked pissed.

The little boy grabs the kitten out of the bucket and places it on the ground while the woman smacks Sehun on the cheek. She begins to yell at him and she can see Sehun's anger slowly building. Suddenly, he snaps and tackles the woman to the ground, his hands wrapped around her neck.

The boy realizes what's going on and he drops the kitten and goes to try to fight Sehun off. But Sehun just shoves him aside and he stumbles back, hitting his head on a rock. The boy isn't moving.

Sehun finally releases the woman long after her lips had turned blue. He jumps back, an expression of horror on his face, as if he was just realizing what just happened. He gets up and runs hard and fast, as far as he can. The next image is of him jumping off a bridge only for the water to come up and save his life...

Autumn gasps as she comes back to reality and stumbles over to the toilet to vomit. She felt sick, but not from using the power.

She finishes up heaving and wipes her mouth. She looks down at herself and notices she was in the bikini. As she breaths the air, she knows the shower was hot from the humidity. She blinks hard several times to rid her brain of the memory.

She climbs into the shower and scrubs the dirt off of herself until her skin was pink. But even after she had climbed out and wrapped a towel around herself, she, for some reason, still felt gross and dirty. Maybe it was because of the images that she knew would haunt her.

Yixing feels around with his bound hands for Chanyeol desperately. He wanted confirmation that it was him, even though he couldn't see. His hands land on Chanyeol's leg and he works his way up to the boy's ears. Those were all the confirmation he needed.

"Ow, stop pulling on my ear!" Chanyeol whines. Yixing feels tears pricking behind his eyes.

"How'd you get her Chan?" Yixing whispers. He was overjoyed that he was no longer alone, but he knew that Chanyeol was in danger. He didn't want the younger boy to get hurt.

"Leetuk and Kyuhyun brought company,"  Chanyeol mutters, "We were looking for you, and someone knocked me out and shoved me into some hole. When I was finally taken out of the hole, I found out it was Heechul, although I don't think he was the one to put me in there to start with. I didn't see or sense anyone, so it was probably Sungmin..."

There is a small cry and Yixing feels Chanyeol fall over. He frantically shakes the younger boy.

"Chan?!" he cries,  "Chan?!"

"Shut up Yixing," somebody grumbles, ripping the blindfold off of Yixing along with a few of his hairs. Yixing rubs his scalp and looks up fearfully.

"Mr. Heechul," he breaths.

Heechul smirks at Yixing, causing him to cower. His gaze then hardens when it moves to Chanyeol.

"Stupid kid," he comments, winding back his foot to kick Chanyeol in the ribs. Yixing acts immediately, sticking his hands out to block the impact.

"Why did you bring him here?" Yixing asks bravely.

"What, you don't want the company?" Heechul responds, then reaches down and grabs Chanyeol by the collar of his shirt. He lifts him off the ground.

"Should I just take him away then?"

Heechul starts to drag Chanyeol away, causing Yixing to panic and grab Heechul's ankle.

"No, don't take him!" Yixing pleads.

Heechul smirks.

"Fine," he drops Chanyeol. Then reaches over and grabs Yixing and yanks him up, "I'll take you then."

Yixing doesn't fight as Heechul leads him to another room. From inside, he can hear the sound of something hard coming in contact with flesh. Then a soft cry.

Heechul opens the door and pushes Yixing in, right next to a fallen Luhan. The younger boy wasn't close to nearly how bad he had been beaten before, but it was still pretty bad. If Luhan had been one of the girls, Suho would've never let them go this far.

"Heal him," someone says from behind, Yixing turns and sees another familiar face. Yesung glares at him, prompting him to obey.

After a few moments, the discolored skin on Luhan's body is returned to normal, and the blood slowly leaking out of cuts stops flowing. Luhan wakes up and cries out fearfully. He moves away from all of them as fast as he can, then whimpers when Yesung approaches him.

"Please, I already said I'd join," he snivels, "Don't hurt me..."

His pleas are ignored and as Yixing is dragged out, he can see Yesung begin to abuse him again.

Yixing is taken back to the room with Chanyeol and dropped.

"Sleep well Yixing, hope you have sweet nightmares," Heechul comments rather childishly as he waves goodbye and leaves.

He puts his hands on Chanyeol and heals him. Being exhausted, he lays down and sleeps after he's done. As Heechul seemed to predict, he had nightmares.

I am so sorry this has taken so long. I have writers block (ewwwwww). I know it's kinda boring, hopefully action will be coming soon.
