The Monster Under The Bed

2. Danger

Autumn wakes up to Zitao jumping on her.

"I'm up, I'm up, jeez," she groans, rubbing her eyes.

"Good!" Zitao cheers, "I think Kyungsoo made food!"

"Then go get some," she replies tiredly.

"I don't want to go down by myself. What if something happens? What if--"

"Okay okay," she groans, "I'm coming."

He cheers and helps her out of bed. She moans and holds her head.

"Give me a ride," she orders, tapping him on the shoulder.

He happily complies, bending down so she can jump on his back. Once she's situated, he starts to walk downstairs. He knew from experience that she wasn't to be messed with when she was moody.

"We have a Code Red," Zitao jokes when he reaches the dining room. She smacks his chest lightly. But that doesn't stop the jokes.

"Good thing I made chocolate chip pancakes," Kyungsoo adds, setting a plate down on the table.

"Quick, give it to her before we let out the beast!" Chen laughs.

"I'm not on my period guys!" she answers, clearly annoyed.

Zitao lets her down and she collapses on the chair. The boys start eating, she doesn't. She wasn't hungry, so she just daydreams. A cool hand touches her forehead.

"You don't have a fever," Yixing comments before sitting down next to her, "Do you feel sick?"

"I feel fine, I'm just tired," Autumn sighs.

"That's never stopped you from eating before."

Autumn sighs again, a migraine settling in.

"Yixing, please stop probing," she asks, rubbing her temples.

Yixing is about to answer, but Suho comes into the dining room with a pissed expression on his face.

"What's wrong Suho?" Xiumin asks bravely.

"My uncle is coming to stay with us for a few days."

What talking there was ceased. Everyone looked scared at the news.

"It's gets worse," Suho continues, "He's bringing my cousin."

Silence.

"Why is he coming here?" Xiumin asks after a bit.

"He wants to check up on us and make sure I'm doing well as the leader."

"What's going on?" Autumn asks, confused.

Yixing glances at her, seeming to remember she was there. His head swivels to Zitao, who was still busy stuffing his face.

"Oh shit," Baekhyun comments, panic in his voice, "Do they know about Autumn and Zitao?"

"Sort of," Suho sighs, "They know two more people joined us. They don't know who."

"What's going on guys?" Autumn repeats.

"They're worse then we were with you and Zitao when you weren't one of us."

Her eyes widen.

"T-that's possible?" she stutters.

"Very possible," Chanyeol murmurs, picking at his food.

"When are they getting here?" Sehun asks.

"In a week," Suho answers, "We need to start getting ready."

The boys nod and begin getting up.

"Wait," Chen calls, "Which cousin?"

Suho swallows hard.

"Kyuhyun."

Luhan wakes up before Kris in the dark. He felt a bit better than he had the day before: Autumn must have come in the night before. His wrists hurt still, but there wasn't much she could do to fix that.

His stomach growls, his body had gotten used to her constantly sneaking it food.

He leans his head back on the wall and stares at the disgusting ceiling. He blamed himself for them getting caught. He should've told Kris they had to leave. That they had to run.

He hated himself for not doing so.

He doesn't know how long he stayed in that position, alone in the dark. A small groan is what gets his attention. He looks at Kris. The younger male still seemed to be sleeping, as his head was lowered and his body was hanging by the chains around his wrist. Kris groans again and jerks a bit.

"Kris," Luhan calls, "Wake up."

Kris raises his head and opens his eyes.

"I've been awake for hours Lulu," he moans, "I just don't feel like doing anything, not even talking."

"But aren't you uncomfortable?"

"I can't feel anything except this headache," Kris murmurs, "Autumn said last night that I had a fever."

"That doesn't surprise me."

"Me neither."

The door swings open, shocking them both. Xiumin, and Chanyeol walk in.

Without a word, they unchain the two prisoners, making sure to cuff them, and haul them up up the stairs.

"Where are you taking us?" Luhan asks.

"To the cabin."

Short chapter bc I don't want any of the fun stuff to happen yet. Sorry not sorry for the cliff hanger. I'm really tired.
