Day Off

Chapter 2!



Demi's POV


We arrived at the studio.

We held hands as we walked in to the building. As usual, there were some paparazzi taking pictures of us.


I went to my manager's office and he told me a lot of stuff going on.

"And plus!"

I looked at him confused

"You got weeks off." he continued

"For real?!" I asked excitedly

"Yes. You need rest, Demi. So I will give it to you. Since you begged me several times" he joked

"Thank you so much" I said

"Is your boyfriend here?" He asked

"Yes. He's actually outside" I answered

"Okay. Tell him I say 'Hi'" he said and winked

"Haha. Sure. Thanks again!"

"Sure. Have a good one" he then said

I left his office and walked over to the lobby where Niall was patiently waiting.

He saw me and stood up.

"Hey. So how did it go? You seem very happy" he asked

I was smiling and it was pretty obvious.

"Uhm..... I got weeks of vacation!" I squealed

"Really? That's great!" He hugged me with joy. He was really excited as I am.



Niall's POV

I was so happy for me girlfriend. Thank goodness they gave her a break.

"Really? That's great!" I hugged her

"I know! We can spend more time together" she exclaimed

"So. Where are we going next?" she said. She gave me a light squeeze in my hand and smiled like she was suggesting something.

She does that when she's hungry or something.

"You're hungry, eh?" I said jokingly

"Yes. Can we please eat?" She said while giving me those puppy dog eyes. She knows I can't resist that. It's quite unfair sometimes haha.

"Of course" I said. "Good thing is, Zayn texted me a while ago. He asked if we could join them for dinner." I continued

Yes. The lads are here in America with me. Also their girlfriends. It's our short vacation, too.

"Sure! We should come. I want to see them specially the girls. I miss them so much" Demi said

"Ok. Let me just text Zayn" I said

To: Zayn

Mate ! We're joining for dinner . Where are we going to meet ya?

After a couple of minutes. My phone buzzed from me pocket.

From: Zayn

Great! The lads and I will meet you at the seafood restaurant downtown. We'll be there at 7. X

"What did he say?" Demi asked

"We're going to that fancy seafood restaurant downtown." I informed her

"I love that place!" She exclaimed

"They'll be there at 7" I continued

"Okay" she smiled. She looked so excited. She's really close with the lads' girlfriends. They're like bffs.

We walked to the parking lot then I started the engine.

We then drove off.



Demi's POV


We arrived at my apartment to dress up for dinner.

I was really looking forward to this dinner. I miss hanging out with the lads and their girlfriends.

Those girls are like my sisters.

Niall and I went to my bedroom to change. I have some of his clothes in my closet.

He took off his shirt and looked for another one.

"Do you have me plain shirt here?" He asked

I just sat there, staring at him. I just thought how I missed the old times. It was just like this.

"Dems" he waved his hand at me and raised an eyebrow

"Oops. Sorry" I chuckled

"Can't take your eyes off of me, eh?" He smirked

I laughed a little bit. "Excuse me? Do you know who you're talking to?" I joked

Niall came closer to me.

He knelt on the floor beside my bed because I was sitting there.

"Yes. I know who you are" he smirked

"You're my girlfriend" he continued as he leaned in for a kiss. Our lips met and we shared a passionate kiss.

I pulled away and my cheeks turned bright pink. He also blushed and he chuckled.

"Yes, that's right" I answered and I was still smiling.

He smiled like an idiot.

"I need to change" I said

He stood up and said "Yeah, me too"

When he finished changing, he left the room.

After 20 minutes, I finished changing. I tried to look really formal since we're going to a fancy restaurant.

I wore a peach dress and a black leather jacket. I was wearing my black heels and I put my hair in a bun.

After a couple of minutes, Niall knocked.

"Are you finish babe?" He asked

I opened the door and he just stood there staring at me.

"What?" I asked confusedly

"Y-You look so beautiful" he said as he stared at me.

"Thanks babe" I smiled at him.

He looked formal, too. He wore a plain white shirt, a black jacket, jeans and his signature white Supras.

"Let's go?" I suggested

He held my hand and we left my apartment.

We drove off and went to the place...
