Not Alone

Chapter 5!



Harry's POV


I woke up with the sound of my alarm clock. It was 7:45 in the morning. I stretched my arms as a get up from my bed. I proceeded to the bathroom to freshen up.

I looked at my mirror and had a thought.

"Can I do this by myself? All the lads have their girlfriends except me. Am I still important?" My mind spoke.

After freshening up, I went to the kitchen.

Liam was there with Niall, Demi, and Eleanor.

"Good morning, mate!" Liam said.

"Good morning, Harry!" The others said in unison.

"Morning!" I smiled. "Where are the others?" I asked.

"Zayn, Perrie, and Danielle are still sleeping and Louis went to the grocery to buy something." Eleanor answered.

The three of them helped Liam to cook. I took some plates and utensils and helped setting up the dining table.

The door bell suddenly rang and Niall volunteered to get the door.

"It's Louis!" Niall shouted not too loud.

"Liam! Is this kind of bread okay?" Louis went to Liam and showed him what he bought.

Liam checked "This is not the one, Louis but it will do"

Louis sighed in relief, "I thought you'll make me go back there. It's too far away!"

Liam chuckled.

After a few minutes, Zayn, Perrie and Danielle walked in.

"Good morning" they said in unison.

"Morning!" We replied.

"Just in time for breakfast" Demi uttered.

Perrie was still rubbing her eyes. I think she had trouble sleeping. Oh right, she was so scared of the movie we watched last night.

We all sat down and ate breakfast. We chatted almost about everything. I can see the girls were so close.

The lads and I told Demi the embarrassing things Niall did. Louis spilled the most.

"Lads we discussed about this. I told you not to tell Demi"

Demi laughed and Niall blushed in embarrassment.

"This was a lovely breakfast." I told them.

They all agreed.

After eating we went to the living room to chill.

The curtains were open so the sun reflected. It was a lovely sight.

I rested on the sofa with my eyes closed.

Louis began to speak, "Are we just gonna do this all day?"

"Yeah let's go out" Niall suggested

"But where?" Liam asked

"I dunno maybe chill at the park." Zayn suggested

"Park is a good idea" I told.

"Then park it is!" Louis shouted.

"How about our food?" Perrie asked.

"We'll just stop by at a restaurant to take out. There's no much time to prepare" Liam informed.

We all agreed. All of us left the living room to freshen up and prepare what we need.

After an hour we were all ready. We left the pent house.

"I'll keep the keys!" Louis suggested.

"NO!" We all said in unison.

Louis gasped as he put his hand on his chest pretending to be offended.

"Fine!" Louis said and we all chuckled.

Liam took the keys from him.

"I'll take it for safe keeps." Liam winked.

"Whatever Liam" Louis pretended to roll his eyes.

"Let's go now shall we?" Zayn suggested.

I took a ride with Zayn and Perrie. Liam and Danielle took a ride with Niall's car and Louis and Eleanor alone in Louis' car.

Perrie was seated at the passenger's seat and I seated at the back.

We left the parking lot and proceeded.

We first stopped to Pizza Hut. Of course it was Niall's idea. We went to the drive thru so we can order the food we needed.

After ordering varieties of pizza, we left and proceeded to the park.

..

We arrived at the destination. The park was really private and they were only few people there.

I opened the door of Zayn's car and walked over to Niall's car where I helped carry the food.

The girls set up the mat at the soft grass and we all settled down. The atmosphere was great.The clear blue sky was lovely to look at.

Zayn and Perrie were holding hands so as Niall and Demi. Liam's arm was around Danielle's shoulder. Eleanor's hand was in Louis' lap.

I didn't mind though, I'm really happy for the boys. I just felt alone so I just sat there admiring the view.

Niall began to speak,

"Hey I saw a 'Rent-A-Bike' near here."

"That's great!" Demi said

"I want to come!" Perrie squealed

"Let's go then" Eleanor said

Louis, Eleanor, Niall, Demi, Zayn, Perrie and Danielle stood up.

"Hey, you two! Are you gonna come with us?" Louis asked Liam and I 'cause we were still sitting.

"You go on mate. I'll stay here for a while" I informed him.

"Okay. How about you Liam?" Louis asked.

"I'm good mate. I'll just stay here with Harry for a while."

"Are you sure babe?" Danielle asked Liam.

"Yes. I'll join you later" Liam smiled at her.

"Okay" Danielle answered.

They went to the place Niall was talking about and left us.

When the others were out of our sight I took a deep breath and started to speak,

"So why did you decided to stay here with me?" I asked him.

"I don't know, I just don't want you to feel alone, mate." Liam said.

"Well do you?" He continued

There was a moment of silence..

"Well I-I- .. " I muttered

"To be honest?" I continued


"I actually do feel alone."

Liam looked at me and patted my back.

"I mean you're attention is to your girlfriends. Don't get me wrong, I am happy for you guys. I just feel like it. Sometimes I wonder if I'm still important." I told him.

"Mate-" Liam stuttered.

"I totally understand you." He continued

"Don't feel that way. We care about you and also the girls. They're worried about you."

I was shocked on what he said.

"Really? The girls are concerned about me?"

"Yes. They don't want you to feel lonely. We're here for you." Liam said in a sincere voice as he patted my back.

"Thank you." I said sincerely and gave him a smile.

"Not a problem." He answered.

"So... Shall we join them?" I suggested.

"Yep. Let's go" he agreed.

We stood up and we joined the others.

..

After a day at the park we headed home.

I enjoyed this day. I felt so much better when Liam said that to me.

I realized that I wasn't alone all the time because I have four of my best mates with me. They never really made me feel alone. It was just me.

I'm so thankful that I have them.
