Her eyes burst open. There's a burning sensation on her wrists. She looks up and notices that her hands are tightly tied in the rope that's connected to more rope from the ceiling. She pulls against the ropes with all her might, but they just weren't giving in."D-Don't bother," a voice says. Katerina looks down and around to discover a thin male bound the same way as her. Though it was dark, she could see his bruised eye, busted lip, and a bloody spot on the male's shirt. "I already tried." Katerina stares at him, scared and worried. "I know you're gagged at the moment, but listen to me. Trust me. Do exactly what they say no matter what it is. They'll only punish you worse if you don't listen." Katerina looks away as the door swings open. In comes a man. David so to speak.
"I see you're up my dear," David says making his way towards Katerina. "You're not hurt too badly I see. Preston you talked to her?" Preston nods his head yes. Katerina stands there trying to fight back tears. Although it's working, you can still see tears sliding down her cheeks from her grey eyes.
"Yes sir," Preston says, keeping his head down. David walks towards Preston. Katerina watches, not knowing what to expect. Preston keeping his head down suddenly falls to the ground as his hands are untied from the dangling ceiling rope. Preston groans in pain, making his arm fly over his stomach. He applies pressure to his wound that had happened just two days ago prior to the kidnapping of Katerina.
David picks up Preston by his shirt and throws him towards the door, where Jeremy is standing. Jeremy quickly bends down and picks Preston up. Dragging him out of the door it leaves Katerina alone with only David. David turns around meeting Katerina's grey eyes. He smirks and walks towards her. She starts to struggle. Wanting to be let go of. David places each of his hands on Katerina's cheeks. Keeping her head still they keep eye contact.
"Shhh, it's okay," David whispers and begins to take off the gag. When the gag's fully off Katerina starts screaming for help. David cups his hand over her mouth and keeps it there tightly. She stops screaming and tears start flying down her cheeks. The man lifts his hand and puts it down.
"I want to go home," Katerina whispers, tears in her eyes and her voice dry. The man nods.
"And I want to go to the moon. It ain't happening sweetheart. Time to accept that," David says. Katerina looks down and soon feels David's huge hands on her's. Starting to untie the rope connected to more rope on her wrists, her arms drop and she falls. Before she hits the floor David catches her. "That would've hurt."
Katerina rolls her eyes and David drags her to a different door then what Preston went out too. David opens the door and Katerina's eyes widen to the scenery of the room. David pushes her forwards causing her to fall on the ground. She falls into a tiny puddle of blood. But enough to look like she had been stabbed. She uses her hands to get back up. Still tied though struggles. After seconds of struggling she feels a strong grip on her hair. Her head is pulled back and she could feel David's hot breathe.
"If you try to escape, this is where you'll end up," He whispers into her ear. Slowly David bites her ear and Katerina groans and tries to move away. David noticing stops and throws Katerina down. "This will be a living hell in here. No contact with the outside. No windows, no doorknob, padded room, completely silent. You'd make it only a couple days in here. I'd advise you to never try to escape." Beep, beep, beep. Went an extremely loud siren. It sounded almost like a high pitched scream.
Katerina flinches at the noise. David quickly grabs Katerina and pulls her by her arm. They stop by the door Preston had been dragged out of by Jeremy. The man reaches into a bucket full of supplies. He pulls out a bandana. Katerina backs up but quickly David grabs her and turns her around. He puts the bandana on her mouth and wraps it around. Tying it off in the back he keeps a hold of her left arm. A tight grip so to speak.
Finally he opens the door and makes Katerina go out first. The siren still goes off. Him and Katerina make a right and walk down the long, narrow hallway. Nothing was in sight, no sounds, no nothing. "Why is that thing going off?" David questioned, highly confused. They make a left and a room labeled "Control Room" appears. David forces Katerina to sit right inside off to the side of the door. He walks in and looks at everything. David slams his fist down on the red button, causing it to pop up.
All the sirens stop beeping. Katerina looks around and suddenly gun shots start going off. David stands still looking around outside of the class. Momentarily the glass breaks and David flies down. He scoots over towards Katerina and places a gun to her head. Right on her right temple. Katerina stiffens and becomes extremely nervous.
"Hand the girl over!" A voice says.
"Not going to happen!" David shouts back. Bang, bang, bang. Went several gun shots. Katerina flinches as every gun shot is fired. "Alright, alright! We're coming out!" David stands up, picking Katerina up along with him. He places her in front of him, wraps his arm around her chest, and firmly keeps his gun on her right temple. Slowly they make their way out. There stood a man.
"Hand her over, before I blow this place up," the man says. David looks at the man. Squinting his eyes. "Do it now!" David shakes his head no and tightens his grip on Katerina. She shuts her eyes and then reopens them. "This isn't right. She doesn't deserve to be here!"
"Does it look like I care Isaac? I'm taking care of her! Now leave!" David shouts. Isaac laughs.
"That's not going to happen. You promised me father. You promised you wouldn't kidnap her. You wouldn't kidnap her at all. But look at us now papa. She's gagged, and tied. Is that a stab wound I see?" Isaac shouts. David shuts his eyes tightly then reopens.
"I'm sorry Isaac," David says. Swiftly, David moves the gun off of Katerina's head, points it at Isaac and fires three times.
