Poppy's POV:

Before me was a broken Branch. His color was fully faded and his expression was as sad as it could be. He looked awful, especially the big bruise around his eye. I felt so pitiful for him, he looked like a little baby bunny that just got stopped and cooked up to be eaten. I could not let that happened.

Branch finally noticed me and gave me a weak smile, the same he had before when he was about to give me my gift.
"Poppy! You're okay!" He croaked giving me a bigger smile than before.

"Yes, I am okay!" I laughed smiling at him. "And you will be, too. I promise I will....."

"That's enough, Pop-py. You spoken plenty enough. Remember what I said, dear Queen of Trollians." Ms.Bergen said, giving me a gleam with her bold eyes. "I could eat him up right now." She said, not even noticing that Branch broke from her grip and was hiding behind the cage.

Ms.Bergen looked down confused.
                                   "Oh! That Troll ran away! Ugh, Creek, come help me look." She growled.

                                       "I should just stay and watch Guard," Creek said with a smirk and wink at me.

                                      "You're right. I'll go find him. You stay and watch the Queen." The girl Troll agreed, and then left to find Branch who was right behind me.

Branch came to the front to Creek. And said with grief;
                                      "So, are you gonna help or not?" Branch asked and Creek nodded.

                                        "Of course I am, Branch. Here, Poppy has taught me her feelings for me." Creek said with a grin.

I pierced my lips as Branch looked heart broken.
                                        "How I used to have feelings for you. That's over now, Creek. We can still be friends, though. But I don't think you ever loved me, so I guess there's no reason for me to love you back. Is there, Creek?" He didn't answer, so I continued. "Now please help me out. We can take you back to the Trolls. Please, Creek. I'm sure they'll forgive you."

Creek let out a sigh and unlocked the cage door. I jumped out and collapsed on Branch, who hugged me back. It was time. Time for the present.
I leaned in and kissed Branch, who I'm sure's face lit up and was scared. I was scared, but I did it. Because I realize something. I love him.

                                            "I love you, Branch," I told him after the kiss.

                                             "I love you, too, Poppy." He said.

And we were off to the troll land.
