A good nights sleep

It was already very late and I couldn't find my way out of the forest. It was getting to dark that I couldn't even see and whenever I walked I felt like I was blind. At one moment I thought I heard somebody else in the forest but then I just assumed it was somebody outside the forest shouting, but I was wrong. There was nobody I was all alone so I decided I would sleep in the forest.

I kept walking around until I found a spot where the ground crunched when I stepped and I realized there were leaves. I felt the area around the pile of leaves I had found and tried to get at comfortable as possible, it was very difficult considering they were leaves. I have never been camping before but this definitely wasn't my idea of a "nice night". After about an hour of tossing and turning in the leaves I dozed off.

In the morning it still wasn't very bright because of all the trees in the forest blocking the suns glow. When I woke up I was covered in leaves, they were all over my clothes and in my hair, this had to be the worst sleep I've ever had. When I woke up my mouth was dry, but when I stood up I noticed a container with waffles drenched in syrup next to the piles of leaves I had rested on. I picked them up and I thought "what kind of person leaves waffles for somebody sleeping ina forest but doesn't wake them up, did they think I purposely did this?"

The waffles and a half full water bottle were all I had to get through this day before I got out of this forest, or so I thought I would make it out. I ate the waffles had a few sips of my water bottle then continued my journey. I heard another voice it sounded like the one I heard last night but I couldn't make out what the person was saying. I continued walking in the same direction I had been walking all night yesterday because I just assumed I had to be close to the road or at least somewhere that wasn't in this forest.
