My New Roommate (Short story)

I was shocked when she say that to me. Is that the reason why veronica acted so weird when she's around me? Is that the reason why? "You and her have been best friend since you were both a child. Mom lied to you, she doesn't want you to know about this. When you were a kid, Veronica is the only kid you want to play with, talk with, walk with, and even sleep with..." Veronica is looking down in his hands. Why did she never told this to me? Is that why the best friend thing is so much important to her? I'm so stupid, why didn't I notice?!

"But mom don't want you to be with her. Because she is afraid that you gain more attention to veronica instead of her. I try to explain to her that in time you'll gonna be mature enough and you will have your own life. But she refused. I'm telling you this because veronica is not taking it anymore. She wanted you all along, she waited for you she try to get another guy but still herself drag her to you. And you are so fucking blind to see that my brother." Tears on Veronica's face started to fall. I get numb and my hands starts to shake. I stand up and walk to the front door but I failed. I dropped off my phone and punch the door as hard as I can. Twice.

Tears blurred my vision I lean my back on the door and sit on the ground with my hands on my head. Then it all hits me. To the day she don't want to be my roommate, to her avoiding me, to her calling me by my name, to the day I ask her if she want to find her best friend, to the day she agreed with my stupid deal, and everything. It all fucking clear to me now.

I hear veronica crying in the table sobbing so hard. "Why didn't you tell me?!" I yelled in anger. She stands up and face me. I stand as well with fear in my body. "I'm trying to! But I'm so scared." Her eyes are shot red with her nose and cheeks.

"Scared of what?" She shooked her head and held tight to the chair beside her. "Scared if you will believe me or not. I really wanted to tell you from the beginning. But my fear is always there" I try to calm myself and brush the tears in my face. I lean on the door catching air.

"I'm sorry, Felix. I really am." She said in a calming tone. Her eyes where now close and I take that chance to walk towards her and brush her tears away. She gasp and her breath starts to calm.

"Look at me" I said in a boastful voice. But she didn't listen "veronica.." She slowly open her eyes and our gaze met. Her beautiful eyes. "You didn't know how much I wanted you, I fucking quit all my Hobbies just for you. And still you think that I won't believe you?"

"I want you since the beginning, I stop fucking girls the day I realize who I really wanted. I stop smoking and drinking the day you throw my cigarette and said that our apartment smells like hell. I won't stop that thing just for a booty call you know." I kiss her forehead and hug her tight.

"It's because you're not the way I expected you to be. And since then I know what I want..." I cut off. Veronica take that chance to tell me something

"I miss you so much" she said then hug me tightly. I removed my hug to her but our eyes are still contact with each other. "I can see my future with you" that's the last thing I whisper before I crashed my lips unto Hers. We make out for a while and we both pull to catch our breath.

I smile at her and I can't believe that she is my best friend. "We better call scar to tell this" she said and I nodded. We face time her and she was shocked when we tell her our story in this barely apartment. "I'm so happy for you guys!! OM to the G!!! I knew it you both will still listen to each other like you to used to." Scar said with her super happy expression. Veronica chuckled at her.

"Thanks to you, scar" I said. Scar nodded and I can see in the corner of my eyes that veronica is looking at me. "Always save the day" scar support herself. We ended the call with a huge smile on our faces.

"That was a relief" I told her. She nodded and put her head on my shoulder. "Wanna do something fun?" I asked her. She turn to me and giving me the 'what are you talking' look. I dialed chesca's number and wait for her to answer. I put it in speaker. "When she answer make a sexual noise. I'll do the rest" I order her. She giggle and nodded. Then chesca finally answer.

"Look who's begging now huh?" Chesca greeted. Veronica moan and make an arousing tone that made me hard either. Then it's my turn "of fuck. Veronica you're so tight. I fucking love you so much" Veronica and I try our best not to laugh while chesca is cursing on the other line.

"You two are so disgusting! Why the fuck did you even call, Felix?! I hate you! I'm better in bed" then the line went off. We burst out of laughing. Chesca really think she is better in bed? Oh shit. I laugh even harder.

Then I catches my breath back and look at Veronica who's gaining her senses back. "That was fun" she stated.

"Yeah, but what if you finish what you started earlier huh?" She snapped her head towards me with her brow raised. I put my hands under her t shirt and other on her breast "your moaning makes me hard. In the way no one else can" then I started kissing her. And the second time around it happens.

She is a full package. I won't let her go. Never. Not now, not ever.
