Veronica's POV

We're in his car driving to school. The tension on this car beginning to rise. I'm getting sweater and sweater. This is it. The day that me and Felix will pretend, together

Felix's POV

I notice how nervous Veronica is. Because of the act we will pull in the whole school. "Calm down, V." I said to her. She turn her gaze on me with a worried look. "What if they found out that we are only pretending? What if this will not work? What if Ethan don't fall for it?" Here she goes again. I sigh and smirk

"Take it easy, V. Trust me, they wouldn't" I said calmly, because they actually wouldn't find it out. I'm very good at hiding. Very good at it.

I pull on the schools parking lot and we both come out of my car. I walked towards veronica and wrapped my arm around her waist.

We walk towards her friends with their eyes wondering what's going on. I squeeze Veronica's waist "calm down, V. This will always work" I whisper to her.

"Hey" she greeted her friends as soon as we stand in front of them. "What's going on?" Her friend ask. She take a deep breath "me and Felix, are together." Her friends were giving her the 'are you kidding look'

"We've been together since last month." She continued.

"What the fuck? Really nics? The school's fuckboy?" The girl with blonde hair said. I recognize this girl from my class. She's umm.. Her name is Margarette I think. Veronica nodded and I grin

"I love her" they caught off guard of my words. And especially veronica. I nodded at them and smile "you heard me" at first the words that leaves my mouth didn't sink in, in my head so I keep my ego on fire.

"You're never been on a serious relationship. Don't make us dumb, fuckboy" marga, said again. ouch. That hurts. I smirk and turn to veronica who's looking at me puzzled.

"I didn't say anything. But there's only one thing I know..." I kiss her on the forehead. Her eyes are getting watery. Why? Does she love me the way I love her?

Yes folks, yes. I'm falling in love. And I'm changing every single day.

"I'm falling in love with you" I confess. But she thought this was just all an act. And I thought it that way either. But after all she smile and pull me away leaving her friends there. "Where are we going?" I asked her.

"Just follow me" we walked to the forest and there we found a water fall. "I miss this place" she stated. I looked at her but she's staring at this beautiful place.

"You used to go here?" I asked her. She nodded and take a deep breath. "Me and my best friend used to go here when we are still kids." She stated the look straight at me.

"C'mon! Let's swim!" She stated in excitement and started removing her clothes and skirt. Damn, her body is so irresistible. "What are you waiting for?!" She yelled back and started climbing on the rocks. I quickly removed my clothes leaving just my basketball short

I climb as well and meet her at the top. "You're so slow!" She said. I walked closer to her "in count of three." I exclaimed to her. Then we started to count. "Three!!" We both jumped and finally we hit the warm water.

It feels really good. I swam to her and grabbed her waist. "Feels good right?" She said smiling. I never seen her so happy like this before.

We swim for an hour and then we both got tired so we sit on the rock that's in the middle of the lake. My gaze met her "you know what?" She started of. I raised my brow and wait for her to continue. "I want my best friend back"

Why is she saying this things to me now? "So you want us to find him?" She shooked her head and smile at me. "I have you" her words makes me smile. Then she jumped off the rock and swam towards our clothes. I did what she did.

We're drying ourself out. We wear our uniforms again and walked back the school's parking lot. "That was exhausting" I exclaimed. She chuckled and open the passenger seat. We seat in and drive off

We are both silent until we reached the apartment.

I sit on the couch and Veronica's sleeping on her bedroom. My phone rings and oh, Veronica's phone rings and saw scarlet name on the callers I.D she know her? I answer it. "Nica, how's Lex? Did you already told him? You know you better take the chances to tell him or else he might go away again... Nics?.. Hey.. You there?" I cut off the line. And out it in her bed. Who is Lex?
And how did they fucking know each other?

Veronica's POV

3 hours later

I'm in the mall with my mom. Talking about Felix "did he know?" She asked. I shooked my head "no." She take a deep sigh and lean on her seat.

"When will you tell him?" She asked. I shrug and run my hand through my hair. "I don't know. He said he's falling for me but I know that's all an act. I know how to read him and I can tell that he's really falling. That's why I'm scared"

"Scared of what honey?"

"Scared if he will believe me or not"

There's a lot of things that's going in my head. Felix is really easy to read for me, because I know him very long. But he couldn't remember me. And it hurts. I love him, and I want to risk.

"Don't hesitate to tell him. He will believe you, Felix always believes in you."

"He's your best friend"

I looked up to mom. She's right. He's my best friend, and my best friend always believe in me.
