Y/N POV
Have you ever had that feeling in the bottom of your stomach, when you know that something bad is going to happen? I have that right now.
I walked down the dark alley way of London, clutching at my coat and hiding my purse under it. Drunken idiots stumbled around, making me feel even more cautious.
I rounded a corner and was brought on to a main road. Cars whizzed passed, even though it was now three am. I waited for around ten minutes until the road was clear, and I scooted across.
The street lamps warped things into different shapes, making them look terrifying from the corner of my eye.
I looked at a street sign which read 'Deckhall Lane'. I sighed and tried switching my phone on one more time. Of course it didn't work, the battery drained about three hours ago.
It was all going fine, me and my boyfriend decided to go to a club in London and I was having a really good time. Until my boyfriend decided to get drunk and then force me to get in the car with him. When I protested and begged for him to call a cab, he drove off and left me stranded at the club full of drunk, horny couples.
And now I'm here. Stuck in the middle of nowhere with a dead phone and a tiny bladder. Damn, I really need to pee.
Tears started pouring out of my eyes as I made my way into a park. I sat down on one of the benches and sobbed my heart out. Whilst I was in the middle of my private weeping session, a small arm placed itself on my shoulder and a small voice spoke up.
"Are you okay?" The clearly female voice asked. I looked up to see a tanned, petite girl with middle length wavy brown hair and a worried expression on her face.
"I'm fine." I chocked out before placing my head in my hands again.
"You're not. Do you need help? Are you lost? Do you need to call someone?" Wow, she asks a lot of questions.
"You can talk to me if you'd like." She smiled. She seemed pretty harmless, so I told her all about the dreadful night I'd just experienced, leaving out no detail.
"I'm so sorry! What's your name? If you don't mind me asking."
"Y/N." I replied.
"That's a pretty name. My names Jade."
"Well, thanks for listening Jade. You probably have more to do then listen to a sobbing mess of a twenty one year old pour her heart and soul out, so I don't mind if you leave." Secretly I wanted her to stay, but it would be selfish of me to admit that.
"Nuh-uh! I'm not leaving you in a park bench in London at three thirty am, when God knows what could be lurking around. I have a spare room. You can stay the night."
I smiled and thanked Jade. No one has ever been this nice to me before. Who knew that that night was one of the best nights of my life. I met my bestfriend.
And all because my boyfriend is an asshole!
