I read through the hate comments on Twitter, Instagram, even YouTube and decided to shut my laptop up. Tears threatened to pour from my eyes, but I didn't want to let them fall.

I am strong. I was strong.

The hate has been really intense recently. People are telling me to go die, and some are saying that little mix would be better if it was only Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jesy. That tweet got 3,450 likes and 2,492 retweets.

Maybe I should give the people what they want.

I called up Simon and asked if we could call an emergency meeting. He asked if everything was okay, and so I replied with 'it will be soon.'.

I made my way to the Syco building and pressed the 34th floor button in the elevator. It seemed like forever until the doors flew open, facing me with a waiting area.

I don't wait. Screw it, I'm fucking Jade Thirlwall.

I walked into the meeting room and saw Perrie and Jesy sat with Simon.

Leigh-Anne is always the last one to arrive. I gave everyone a small smile and sat down on one of the comfy chairs.

Leigh-Anne go here five minutes later, so it was time to let everyone know.

"Okay. I think it would be best if I quit the band." Jesy's and Leigh-Anne's mouths dropped open, whereas Perrie just sat still.

"I'm sorry. I just can't take it anymore! All of the fans think this little mix would be better without me. I don't want to hold you girls back." I let the tears flow as I looked around at all the girls faces.

Perrie was now crying, Jesy still had her mouth hung open and Leigh-Anne looked angry.

"Leigh, I'm sorry."

"The fans clearly can't see how talented you are!" Leigh-Anne snapped. "Jade you can't go, I need you!" She cried.

I looked over at Simon who had his head in his hands. He was muttering under his breathe, but I couldn't quite catch what he was saying.

"First Zayn and now you Jade!" As soon as he said Zayn's name, Perrie flinched beside me.

"Whatever, just leave!" He growled.

"No!" Perrie cried. Jesy sobbed into Leigh-Anne's shoulders as Perrie tried pulling me back. She couldn't quite do it though.

I walked out of the door and that was the last time I saw my three best friends. They were doing fine without me though.

World tours, books, new albums.

And the fans loved the new little mix.

I was just me. Just Jade Amelia Badwi Thirlwall. An old memory.

Nothing and nobody.
