" Did you hear that? " Hailey asked " Absolutely " said Leyton " Definitely " said Kinsley. They peep through the window to check if it was they think it is. " Ice cream! " they shouted. " Money, money, money! " they said when they met their Mum in the hall carrying a basket full of dirty clothes. " Let me guess, ice cream? " said Mum " What else is it for? " asked Leyton " I dont know, maybe for motor cross, huh, Leyton? " She gave them twenty bucks. Their Mum didnt want Leyton playing with big bikes since it is too dangerous. They ran to the park whose just across the road.

" Double dutch, cookies and cream, and..." " Strawberry! " said Kinsley " And strawberry " he continued. After that Kinsley started running around and left both of them. " Wow! New neighbors " said a guy with his gang behind him. " I'm Lucas and you are? " " Er- " nothing came out from her mouth. " We dont want to talk to you " said Leyton in a sarcastic tone. Lucas raised both of his hands " I wasnt talking to you, I was talking to her " said Lucas

" What's your name? " he repeated

" Er- " she looked at her brother, as if asking for permission

" Oh c'mon! Do you still believe in ' Dont talk to strangers ' kind of thing? "

" Of course not! " at last she was able to say something " How would we have been able to make friends if we arent talking to strangers? I'm Hailey Harris anyway " 

" And correction Mister, we were talking to you, even if we didnt want to " Leyton cut in.

" This is my brother Leyton " she said

" Hey Heyton! " said Lucas " Its Leyton " he said. Leyton was starting to turn red. " Hate-tone? " Lucas was trying to make Leyton mad. " Forget it " said Leyton. " Do you have a free time Hai-" Kinsley was running to them then she suddenly spilled her strawberry ice cream into Lucas' shirt " Sorry I wasnt looking " said Kinsley " What the fuck?! " said Lucas

" Whoah! I think were having a food war! " said someone and started throwing food, and all of them started to join in, until the park was completely covered with food. Even the ice cream truck drove away.

" Excuse me? If you havent noticed me, I have expected that already because you were all busy playing and scattering garbage " said an old woman who was sitting in a bench. They all stop and looked disciplined. " Maybe she's the chairman, I mean chair-woman " whispered Leyton " I'm the chairman of this place, to those who doesnt know me " the old woman said " You're right " said Hailey.

" Psst! " they saw Kendrew hiding on a bush " Who started this mess? " the old woman asked. They started running to where Kendrew was hiding. " Them- huh were did they go? " asked Lucas everyone started gossiping. " Now all of you clean this place " she ordered. " Whew! That was close! " said Leyton. " That's my grandmother " said Kendrew " Excuse me, Kendrew darling , please come out with your friends, I know they started it " said Kendrew's grandmum. They came out of hiding and dealt with the Chair---->woman. " I knew that you're new here, please help them clean, including you Kendrew " she said then left. She turned around and came back " Oh! I almost forgot , please remove those bubblegums that were attached to those benches and also on those trees. Some are stuck on my butt " They look at her butt and saw a bubblegum, and they took it off. " Okay, merci, au revoir " 

" It's so sticky! " said Hailey while removing a bubblegum on a tree. " My back hurts, a lot! " complained Leyton while Kinsley is riding on his back " I want more ice cream " said Kinsley " No more! " they all said together, including those who are also involved with the " Park-time Job " they called. 

They spent the day cleaning, and went home after dark. " What happened to you guys? " asked their mum when she saw them so dirty, and so sticky, and also that foul smell. " We had a game! " said Kinsley " Take a shower " said their mum while smiling. " Why are you smiling mum? " asked Leyton who also looked puzzled just like Hailey. " She said you had a game, that means you enjoyed. Now come here honey, I'll clean you up. And Leyton honey, youre friends called but you werent here so I told them to call you again later " 

*Rrrriiiiinnnnggg*

" And there it is. You're friends called too Hailey. Wait for them to call you again okay? " " Yes mum " she replied. Leyton hurriedly went to answer the phone. " Leyton, dont forget to take a shower " said Mum and left " Yeah, thanks mum! " " Your welcome! "
