Sorry Leo.

Chapter One

Being the child Of Eros wasn’t easy. Eros was a minor God of sex and love. I was a part of the Argo II crew and one of the eight of the prophecy. Currently Hazel Leo and I were looking for a sheet of celestial bronze. You see I was a very friendly person most of the time but I’ve already realized my fatal flaw or I suppose flaws. I was way too loyal to my friends and I loathed only one person; Myself. I looked up this hill we were walking up only to see myself. At first I thought it was me when I realized the details on her jacket were wrong. I looked over at Leo and smiled gently, he half glared and looked away. I sighed softly but knew this was my fault. Leo and I had gotten into a fight on the ship before he ended up blowing up the Roman camp.

~FLASHBACK~
I giggled at Jason who was joking around about me finally confessing to Leo about my crush.
“Whatever he would never go for me. Not without me using my sexual influence.” I said referring to the gift of making someone lust for you given to any child of Eros.
“Maybe. But he hasn’t seen your gift.” Jason said patting my shoulder. I was like a little sister to Jason almost and he was almost like an Older brother, I had been with Piper Leo and Jason the whole time they were traveling to get Jason’s memory back. I wasn’t great with my hands but I had made Leo a locket with some help from the Hephetus girls. I was going to give it to him as a present and ask him out but I was starting to doubt myself.
“Maybe…” I mumbled looking at the locket. It was designed to turn invisible whenever the wearer was angry, turning the wearer temporarily invisible as well to give them time to hide without being followed, As long as I had a strong feeling for them since it was blessed my father. I took a deep breath and walked up onto the deck where I had seen Leo last. I looked around until I saw him. He had out his pack of breath mints, so I started to walk towards him until the ship tilted slightly. As the ship tilted he dropped his mints and they slid straight under my foot. In an act to try and catch myself I opened my hands, which made the locket go flying over the edge. Leo got out his Wii remote and tilted it before he ran over to me.
“You stupid idiot! Do you know how hard it was to make that!?” I screamed at him. He seemed shocked. “Ugh! I swear you’re so-!”
“I’m so what?! Cause I know you aren’t going to call me useless!” He yelled back at me. I glared as I walked over to the edge not even able to see the ground.
“Maybe you are! You’re definitely oblivious!” I yelled turning back to him. He glared at me and I glared back at him.
“At least I try! Do you know how hard it is to fix a giant boat AND a Dragon?!?” He yelled.
“No! And I don’t care! I worked hard to make that stupid gift for you!” I said before stomping away. It was a petty fight but I had a slight anger problem and never forgot grudges.

~END OF FLASHBACK~
I didn’t say anything until we got to the top of the hill.
“Aunt Rosa?” Leo asked. The goddess looked just like me from my (H/L) (H/C) Hair to my leather jacket over a Panic at the disco shirt with blue jeans to my combat boots. The goddess smiled as she looked over at him.
“Is that what you see?” She asked. “Interesting. And you, Hazel, dear?”
“How did you-?” Hazel stepped back in alarm. “You- you look like Mrs. Leer. My third grade teacher. I hated you.” Nemesis cackled sounding just like me.
“Excellent. You resented her, eh? She judged you unfairly?”
“You-She raped my hands to the desk for misbehaving, she called my mother a witch. She blamed me for everything I didn’t do and- No. She has to be dead. Who are you?” Hazel asked.
“Oh, Leo and (Y/N) Knows. But what about you, child of Eros? Who do you see?” The Goddess asked. I turned my head away and closed my eyes in resentment.
“No one important, Nemesis.” I grumbled.
“Obviously she is if Hera or Juno chose her.”
“You hate Piper, Annabeth, or Me?” Hazel asked. I laughed bitterly and turned away.
“Never. She looks like me.” I said.
“Please explain deary.” Nemesis said, my own face giving off a cocky smirk
“I hate myself. I hate how I can’t read my feelings. I hate the way I look. I hate that I got mad a Leo. I hate my personality. I hate my fatal flaws. I hate how I dress. I hate anything about myself. Happy?” I said turning and glaring at the Goddess. “I’ll be at the bottom of the hill if you need me.” I said before I walked down. Hazel, when I walked by, was absolutely shocked. Leo on the other hand still looked angry at me. After several minutes Hazel came to get me.
“Come on, Miss I hate myself. We’re moving on.” She said. I nodded and stood up, following her to a rock which was only tall enough for her and Leo to stand on. “Who’s Aunt Rosa?” She asked.
“Long story, she abandoned me after my mom died, gave me to foster care.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Yeah well… What about you? What Nemesis said about your brother?” Hazel looked worried or she might cry. Possibly both.
“Nico…. He found me in the Underworld. He brought me back to the mortal world and convinced the Romans at Camp Jupiter to accept me. I owe him for my second chance at Life….” At this point I had droned out. Until Leo said My name.
“(Y/N)? Do you really hate yourself.”
“Shut up Valdez. If I hate myself it’s none of your business.” I snapped. He glared at me before he continued to talk to Hazel.
“Cursed boy she mentioned.” I heard a voice and moved over to the other side of the boulder to see a girl who was camouflaged almost.
“Hello,who are you?” Hazel asked.
“Who are you?”
“Are you the cursed kid Nemesis mentioned? But you’re a girl.”
“You’re a girl.” The girl said which made me laugh.
“Echo.” I said.
“Echo.” The girl said with a nod.
“Let’s see… The old myth was that you gossiped too much and got cursed to repeat everything you heard last right?” I asked.
“Right?” Echo answered. I nodded gently.
“And you’re one of the mortals who were brought back to life right? I really wish I could stop running into dead people.” Leo said.
“Dead people.” Echo asked. I cleared my throat and nodded towards Hazel.
“Except Hazel.” I said.
“Except Hazel.” The other two echoed.
“Sorry. I uh… Didn’t mean it that way.” Leo said.
“That way.” Echo said pointing.
“You wanna show us something?” Hazel asked getting down and Leo followed.
“You sure you’re real? I mean…. Flesh and blood?”
“Flesh and blood.” Echo touched his face and he flinched. I was slightly jealous.
“So you have to repeat everything?”
“Everything.” Leo smiled.
“That could be fun.”
“Fun.” Echo said unhappily.
“Blue elephants.”
“Blue Elephants.”
“Kiss me you fool.”
“Fool is right.” I grumbled in jealousy.
“Fool is right.” Echo said which made me laugh.
“Hey!”
“Hey!”
“Leo, don’t tease her.”
“Don’t tease her.” Echo said. I zoned out until we started moving again. We had to run to catch up to her. The problem was something a bunch of Nymphs were staring at.
“What are they looking at?” Leo asked.
“Looking at.” Echo sighed.
“One way to find out.” Hazel said. “Excuse is. Pardon me."
“Hey! We were here first!”
“Yeah! He won’t be interested in you.” one said until they saw me.
“Ew! A child of Eros!” they exclaimed and made way. I sighed and walked toward the pond, where a guy was sitting.
“He’s gorgeous.” Hazel said. The Nymphs agreed happily.
“I am. I am so gorgeous.” I zoned out for like 5 seconds as I thought.
“You’re Narcissus?” I asked.
“Narcissus.” Echo said with a sad tone.
“Oh not you again!” a nymph called.
“You had your chance Echo!” said one. “He dumped you four thousand years ago! You are so not good enough for him.” Another said.
“She's better than you sluts.” I growled.
“Sluts.” Echo said with a almost happy tone.
“Wait why did echo bring us here? What’s going on.”
“Narcissus was a mortal who broke too many hearts and got cursed. He can only love himself. He’s the complete opposite of me…” I grumbled. “Guys I have a plan to help echo.” I said. Echo Leo and I left from around the pool.
“So What’s this plan?” Hazel asked. I explained my plan to them carefully, leaving out any chance before they nodded. “You get it?” I asked. They all nodded before the plan started. “Oh and Leo, Don’t look over here got it?” I said since I had also left out any details on anything sexual.
“I’ll look if I want to.” he said with a glare.
“Fine. Then you get to see try and make mr. Handsome pop a boner.” I said with a shrug. He made a disgusted face before moving to the other side of the pool. I prayed to my dad.
“Hey dad… I know I’m not your favorite child… But could you help me?I know I asked for help with the locket but we need this quest to continue. I just need a very sexually apealing dress.” I waited until I felt the cold. I looked down and smiled. “Thanks dad.” I said. I was wearing a red dress with most of the back cut out,  revealing that I wasn’t wearing a bra and barely covering my ass. The dress went all the way down to my ankles but had large slits up the sides and a large dip that showed off my cleavage. I walked towards the Nymphs who moved out of my way.
“Hey there Narcissus. You know. Only the best can get with a child of Eros. Wanna try your luck?” I said using my sexual influence on him. He looked over for a second before I climbed onto his  lap.
“Could you move…” He asked. I smirked and nodded, using more of my influence.
“Sure thing pretty boy.” 3 minutes. That was all the others needed. I kissed Narcissus and used my influence to make him kiss back for three minutes, then I got up. “Pleasure doing business with you.” I said before bolting, I could barely see my friends but I heard Narcissus yelling about  killing the demigods. The nymphs came after me, occasionally tripping. I was close to the others until I was grabbed by the water nymphs and dragged back to the pool.
“I LOVE YOU LEO!!!!” I screamed knowing how screwed I was.
“Please Persephone, Hades,Thantos or any God or goddess who has power in the Underworld, forgive me… I just wanted his love…” I said quickly before the Nymphs drowned me. I wasn’t scared, in fact I embraced it. I had always wanted to drown myself,it was one of the more painful ways to die. Then it all went black
