Emma's POV
I woke up the next morning with the ringing of my alarm. I was able to set my alarm at 7:am as I was supposed to be in my office before 8:30. I took my bath and headed to the kitchen to make breakfast which consist bread and eggs with coffee. I can't believe I ate this early today. I mean I won't be able to grab breakfast because I will probably be late.
I heard footsteps coming and I noticed it was Ann.
Hi I said,you are up. I made breakfast
Hi she said yawning and stretching her body before sitting beside me on the couch.
How was your night I asked.
Great she said. You are up early .
Ya I should be there before 8:30 don't wanna be late. Okay she said before heading towards her room to take her bath.
Some minutes later she came back ready for work also. We headed outside to take a cab together before parting to our various ways.

Minutes later I was in my office checking on my system when I heard the ringing of my phone. It was strange number so I ignored.
5 minutes later I heard a knock on my office door to see Mr handsome face, wait did I just call him that.
It's too early to check me out he said and I blushed immediately before speaking after some minutes of silence.
You are not supposed to be here this early I said.
Y not, this is my company and I don't remember anyone telling me what to do he said. I could sense anger on his voice.
I did not mean it like that sir I said immediately before asking what had brought him to my office.
Well I have been calling you miss Lincoln he said bluntly.
Y did you not answer your call.
I did not know who the caller was so I decided to ignore. Besides you should have called through the intercom I said.
I choose when or how to call you miss Lincoln he said before turning back. Getting to the door he turned and said get me my coffee now.
I left to make his coffee which I brought to his office before returning to reschedule his appointment of the day. After launch break he called me and said.
Emily will come and take you out for shipping you need to get yourself nice clothes to wear and shoes anything you want. I was surprised hearing this from My boss, I mean he is not really the caring type of guy.
Who is Emily I said looking at him with wide eyes full of excitement.
Well the blonde we came together that day at the restaurant.
What! I said my face dropped and I was pissed I can't believe he wants his girlfriend taking me out for shopping.
Is that another way to embarrass me in front of your girlfriend Mr James Parker I said popping the p.
Well miss Lincoln you have no other option we have a business party to attend this weekend and I won't have you dressed up like this he said pointing to my clothes.
Well Mr Ja.....,.i was about to argue again when he said you may leave now miss Lincoln. So I left to my office thinking about what he said
After about 6 more hours I left the office heading home after work. Tomorrow will be the day I will have to face that monster of his girlfriend that wanted to devour me because he was looking at me. I wonder what she thinks of me.
For all I know Mr Parker is a single and a handsome billionaire so who wouldn't want him .its not that I want him I just like him because he is hard working ."are you sure you don't want him the back of my head asked making me feel bad about the way he called that girls name. Emily
I walked into my bedroom took my shower and collapsed on my bed. Ann already called me to tell me she won't be coming home she has to pass the night with her boyfriend whom I never knew.
Talking about boyfriend I think it's time I open my heart for someone,its been long I added one .he has been my crush but when he tried to false me do things I don't want to I cut him off .after high school I never saw him again.
