It was a rainy day in New Orleans, not too cold though.. it was okay.

The blue eyed girl was doing her make-up, getting ready for another amazing school day.

-Davina!!- she heard a voice coming from downstairs that made her rolling her eyes.

-Coming!- she shouted as she got up from the chair and ran downstairs. -Morning, Marcel.- she walked up to him and kissed his cheek, before taking her bag with one hand and grabbing an apple with the other.

-Have a good day, love.- he smiled at her softly as she was making her way towards the house's door.

-I'll try, though I have Economy first. I think I'll kill myself before I arrive in that living hell called school.- she chuckled as she shrugged.

-Just go! you'll be good at it, I'm sure. I'll wait for you here. love you.- he replied.

-Alright, alright. See you later. Love you too.- she blew him a kiss and got out of her house, driving herself to school.

Davina's parents died when she was very young so she didn't exactly remember them, but Marcel did meet them. He kept telling her she had her father's determination and her mother's eyes.

He was also the only person she could relate to. Davina didn't have many friends, she knew a lot of people.. and a lot of people knew about her, but it seemed that no one was really able to understand her.

The kid, like Marcel was used to call her, had a really complicated personality, that's why many people usually gave up on her.

Davina made her entrance to the school, she was wearing a black dress, not too short and not too long. Her brown hair was perfectly curled at the bottom that seemed golden thanks to the sunlight coming from a window. Everyone was staring, but of course. Who wouldn't have?

-Hello, Dee. How is it going?- Her apparently only true friend said, nudging her with his shoulder.

-Hey, Josh. All good, you? What about you and Aiden?- She smiled widely as they started walking towards their classes.

-Yesterday it's been probably the best night of my life.- he half-smirked as Davina covered her face with her hands, making her look even cuter in Josh's eyes. He moved her hands from her face and she smiled shyly to him.

-I'm glad you felt good. You deserve it.- She took his hands for a moment as the bell rung. -Gotta go, see you later.- she kissed his cheek and run towards her Economy class as Josh shouted a 'Good luck!'.

She got in and sat on the first free desk she found. All the people in there were saying 'hi' to her and she smiled slightly to all of them.

Davina was one of the most popular girls in the school. Her grades were all great and her smile was able to make everyone fall in love.

The lesson started and she began to take notes of those words that seemed worse than math to understand.

-Miss Claire?- the teacher called her name making her eyes facing him.

-Yes?- she tilted her head a bit as she was playing with her pencil.

-Would you mind going next to mr.Mikaelson in the last desk on the right?- He esitated -Since he needs someone good to help him with this subject.- he added as Davina turned her head to look at the guy.

-Um, sure.- she smiled politely as she took her things and walked towards the guy before sitting down.

She could feel his eyes on her and that was a bit frustrating. He wasn't new in school, he was just too shy to make friends. Davina didn't even remember his name.

The lesson finished half an hour later. They hadn't spoken for the entire lesson, she had nothing to say and he wasn't really able to say hello.

She got up from her chair and as soon as she started to walk away, she heard a voice speaking right behind her.

-I'm Kol.- she turned around and the brown eyed guy smiled slightly.

-I'm..- she began to speak but he stopped her.

-I know..- he chuckled softly. -Davina Claire- he paused -the girl that everyone wants but nobody is able to get. Isn't it?- he asked looking at her behind his black glasses.

Davina bit the inside of her cheek hiding a smirk. -Not everyone wants me. Just because someone says something nice or says a simple 'hi'.. it doesn't mean they want me.- she shrugged, moving a piece of hair from her face.

Kol studied her expressions for a few moments before standing up as well. -Right.- he sighed starting to walk. -But you don't say 'hi' to another just because that's it. There has to be something that pushes you to say it.-

Davina thought about it for a moment before they began to walk out of the class. -That's something we could work on too.- she said smiling a bit.

-Too?- he furrowed his eyebrows confused.

-Don't you need some help in Economy?- she tilted her head looking into the guy's eyes.

-Well yeah but..-

-Then I'll see you tomorrow afternoon in the library- she said writing on a piece of paper her number before giving it to him.

-Isn't usually the guy that has to ask for a girl's number?- he kind of chuckled making her smirking slightly.

-But this time you're the one that needs help, Kol.- she wiggled her eyebrows making him smirking as well.

-Then I guess I'll see you tomorrow.- he said sliding his hands into his pockets.

-I guess so, yes.- she shrugged before moving a piece of her hair behind one of her ears.

They both walked in different directions after a few seconds of awkward staring, both with a silly smile on their face.
