Finding Happiness.

Chapter 2

That afternoon Davina was already in front of the library where she was supposed to meet with Kol.

She had her brown beg on one of her shoulders and her headphones on, waiting patiently.

-Davina?- the now familiar voice called her from behind, making her turn her head.

She turned off her music as she smiled slightly to the guy in front of her.

-Hi.- she hesitated, just to study him better. He had some black jeans and a grey sweater. -Ready for the lesson?- she joked around a bit.

-Mhh, I guess I am.- he paused looking at the building. -Shall we get in?- he asked.

-Of course!- Davina replied, in a soft tone.

Once they got in she sat on the first chair she found, in front of a brown long desk. She glanced at Kol, that was sitting down next to her, but moved fast her look to her books, already positioned neatly on the table.

-Are we ready to get this started?- she questioned, playing with her pink pearled bracelet.

-I am, yes. But may I ask you a question, first?- the guy asked back, and noticing a little nod from the girl, he continued. -Are you gonna be the sexy teacher that will eventually seduce me or am I gonna be the special student that will seduce the hottest teacher of his school?-

-Hm, I don't know. I guess we should try and find out.- she replied, smirking.

Kol smirked as well and licked his bottom lip slowly, watching her biting hers. Their faces were getting so close that she could smell his cologne. She closed her eyes, waiting for the moment.

-Davina?- the guy's voice mumbled when her hand touched his.

-Davina?- this time the voice became a little bit louder, but her eyes were still closed. She could feel him breathing.

-Davina?- His voice brought her back to reality. -Are you going to answer to my question, or..?- she looked at his expression, apparently confused, then she grinned.

-Yeah, sorry. Can you repeat?- she asked.

-Do you think we need to meet every Tuesday? Because I have other things to do and.. you know I..- he bit his lower lip and looked down suddenly.

-Something better to do that getting up your grades? Now this is new. Anyway if you don't want to meet anymore it's fine. You have my number. You can call me if needed.- she winked at him as his eyes softened.

-Alright, thank you.- he smiled. -Now we can get this started.- he continued.

They stayed in that library for hours, until the sun was not able to be seen anymore.

-Thank you for today, I think now I can arrive at a C.- he chuckled.

-Oh don't say that! Just improve yourself, you're not that bad.- she grinned.

-I'll try to.- he said, looking away.

-Alright, so like I said, you have my number. Call me if needed-

Kol nodded, wanting to tell her that of course he wanted to text her, but just so he could know how she was doing. Not only for Economy.

Davina chuckled at his expression then waved her hand slowly, before turning around and disappearing in the dark.

She arrived home a few minutes later, she had dinner with Marcel and then she went upstairs, put her pjs on and closed her eyes.

She was about to fall asleep when her phone buzzed. She opened her eyes half annoyed and grabbed her phone, unlocking the screen.

To: Davina.
Hi, mh.. I hope I didn't wake you up..
Just wanted to say again thank you for helping me. Hope everything is doing good....

Davina smirked slightly and read it a few times more before replying.

From: Davina.
To: Mikaelson.
Hey, Kol. Actually you did, but it's fine & it's okay, by the way ;), I hope it's been useful.. oh and everything here is doing good. Have nice dreams.

She pressed 'send' and turned off her phone, without wanting to be woken up again; then she closed her eyes, this time until the next morning.
