A Month Later

Its Been A Month Since Everything Happened And You'll Be Shocked To Know That Sonia Kicked Us Out Of Our Father's House, At First We Thought She Didn't Have The Right To Do That But Then Again Dad Left Everything To Her So She She Can Do Whatever She Wants.

We've Been Staying With Our Friend Natalie For A Week Now And Her Parents Are Okay With It, They've Been Really Nice To Us And I'm Grateful, I Honestly Thought We'd Be Homeless After We Got Kicked Out of Our Home.

"Have You Found A Job Yet?" Natalie Asked Sitting On The Couch And I Shook My Head. 

I've Been Looking For A Job, And I Haven't Found Anything Yet, At This Point I Don't Even Think I'll Find One, Who Would Want To Hire A College Drop Out? Why I Dropped Out Of College? I Don't Know, I Just Thought I Didn't Need It, Having Daddy's Money And All But Now I Regret It. 

I Know I Need To Find A Job ASAP, We Need It To Survive. I Do Have Money In My Bank Account But I Won't Use It Till I Have Some More Coming In. 

"No, Not Yet." I Sighed "I've Been Looking At A Few On Some Website Tho." 

"Website! Do You Even Trust That Website?" 

"I Think So." I Shrugged.

"This Is How A Bitch Gets Abducted." She Shook Her Head. 

I Chuckled "Hush Up, I'm Grown. I Won't Get Involved In Anything That Seems Too Dodgy.."

"I Still Don't Understand Why You Lookin For A Job! We Ain't Poor." Kelsey Said Reading A Magazine. 

" We're Gonna Be If There's No Money Coming In." I Told Her. 

She Rolled Her Eyes "I Wouldn't Work For No Hoe, Imagine Me Calling Somebody Boss, Nah Uh Not With All This Beauty" 

Natalie Chuckled, I Shook My Head. 

"Let's See What You Gonna Do With All That Beauty When You're Poor And Living In The Streets, Or Under A Bridge." 

"I'd Rather Become A Stripper." 

"You'll Still Be Working For Someone." 

"Well Its Better Than Becoming A Maid Or A Receptionist." She Shrugged. 

"You've Always Been A Hoe..." I Blew My Nails.

"Fuck You." She Pushed My Head As We Laughed.

"Wait..What Kinda Jobs Are You Looking For.?" Natalie Asked. "Cause I Saw A Few Ads" 

"Honestly, I Ain't Really Sure. But I Think Anything Will Be Fine, As Long As It Pays Good Money" I Replied.

"Even If You Have To Work As A Janitor?!" Kelsey Asked.

"I Said Anything Kels, Anything But Stripping And Prostitution."

"Come See, An Assistant Needed, You're Gonna Be Doing A lot Of Filing And They'll Pay You A Thousand Dollars A Month"

"My Advice To You Sissy, Don't Take It. Filing Is A lot Of Work. It Would Be Super Great If They Paid You More, But That's Peanuts" Kelsey Said Eating Some Chocolate.

"She's Kinda Right, Things Are Expensive These Days. What Are You Gonna Do With One Thousand?" Natie Said

"Alright... Keep Goin." I Said And She Scrolled Down Her Tablet.

"There's The Other One, You Have To Babysit A 10 Year Old Kid Everyday For $5.000 Per Month." Natie Said And I Shook My Head.

"Babysitting? She Doesn't Even Know How To Look After Herself" Kelsey Said And I Chuckled Throwing A Pillow At Her. 

"I Can Take Care Of Myself, I Take Care Of The Two Of Us In Fact." I Said. 

"But You Hate Kids Tho." 

"True, Keep Goin Nat." I Said.

"Look, A Helper Is Needed. Working Days Are Monday, Tuesday And Thursday. Wednesdays And Fridays You're Free" Natie Said.

"How Much Do They Pay?" Kelsey Asked.

"$5,000." She Said And I Widened My Eyes.

"A Month?" I Asked

"No, A Week." Natie Said.

Its Been A Month Since I Found A Job, I've Been Working For This Woman Called Bianca. She's Engaged To One Of The Famous Musicians In America, August Alsina. But I Haven't Seen Him Since I Started Working Here. I Heard He's Out Of Town. Bianca Is So Damn Mean. She Treats Me Like A Nobody, Bosses Me Around And Even Calls Me Names Sometimes.

I Just Can't Stand Her, Of Course I Can't Show Her That Cause I Don't Wanna Lose My Job. But She's A Bitch. Me And Kels Live Right Outside In The Guest House. Besides The Fact That My Boss Is Mean, I Enjoy My Job I Mean Ever Since I Was Born I've Never Known How To Clean Cause No One Taught Me So I Take This As My Chance Of Learning Things.

"What Are You Doin On My Couch?!" Bianca Said And I Quickly Stood Up. I Was Just Sitting On The Couch Taking A Break, I Forgot That I'm Not Allowed To. She Said Her Couches Are Too Expensive And They're For People In Her League.

"I'm Really Sorry Bianca" I Said With My Head Down.

"Its Ma'am To You!" She Said, Crossing Her Arms.

I Nodded "Yes Ma'am"

"I Pay You To Work, Not To Sit On My Couch And Watch TV." 

"I'm Sorry." I Put My Head Down. 

"You Know How To Cook Right?!" She Asked.

"Yes Ma'am"

"I Need You To Cook For Me Tonight" She Said.

"But... That's Not Part Of My Job!" I Said.

"I'll Pay You Extra... My Fiancé Just Got Home From His Tour And His Parents Are Comin Over. I Wanna Impress Them Now If You Know What's Good For You, You're Gonna Cook The Best Dish Ever. That's If You Value Your Job." 

"I'll See What I Can Do Ma'am" I Said With My Head Down. "Let Me Get Back To Work" I Walked Past Her With My Head Down. Then I Bumped Into Someone, I Looked Up And It Was August Alsina. I Nearly Fainted. I Used To Be Crazy About This Guy, I'm Still A Fan Like On My Phone I Have Over A Hundred Of His Pics. But I Won't Act All Crazy. I'm Not The Fan Girling Type. 

"I'm Really Sorry Sir" I Said.

"You Good" He Said Showing Off His Pearly Whites. Jesus Christ!

"Honey, This Is The New Maid Kayla" Bianca Said Grabbing His Hand.

"Kaycee" I Corrected.

"Whatever" She Rolled Her Eyes.

"Good To Meet You Cee" August Said. Deep Inside I Wanted To Scream, He Gave Me A Nickname! 

I Nodded My Head. Then I Walked Upstairs To Continue My Cleaning. This Is Gonna Be A Long Day!
