Chloe's P.O.V

My mom, Katie's only authority figure, my light, my heart, my mom.... my mom is gone.

All I can see is her looking at me, I can feel her presence. I know dahvie is holding my hand right now...but I feel like it's mom. What's going to happen? Why do bad things happen to such good people, she was amazing.

I close my eyes and try to relax for a minute, but then I realize I can't. I stand up and scream, I fall straight to the floor. I don't move. I feel jayy lift me up and pull my arms back behind my lower back. I see dahvie through my clouded eyes trying to get katie to move. It's all so quiet. I just let myself go into my thoughts. I close my eyes and drift. Why... why her... why not me? Why god? CAN YOU NOT HEAR ME? WHY HER. BRING HER BACK. GIVE HER BACK. GIVE HER BACK!!!!

I then realized, that wasn't in my thoughts. I was screaming in the hospital room. Dahvie takes me from jayy and takes me outside to a brick wall. He pins my hands up above my head and looks me straight in the eyes.

"Love, can you hear me?"

"mmhmm" I quietly mutter through pursed lips.

He leans over and kisses my lips, he slowly releases my hands and I bring them down to his head, I play with his hair and just focus on him and only him. Not....mom..........
