**Chapter 7**

«Jake's POV»

It's been a week since Braylen had the accident. She is in a coma. We have no clue when she will wake up or even if she ever wakes up. She has been in a coma since the accident happened. It was caused by a drunk driver and they found the person. He is in prison right now but, don't know anything further from that because they wouldn't tell us anything else.

Right now I am sitting beside Braylen. She looks so pale. I hope she wakes up because, I don't what I will do with my self if her and the baby die. Of course, her parents don't know about that she is in a coma since I have requested for them not to call them. We don't know if the baby is alive and healthy either. We think the baby is fine but, we do not know for sure until she wakes up. I get up to go get a drink from the vending machine when I hear.

"J-J-Jake?!"

I turn around. Braylen has her eyes slightly open and is looking towards me.

"Braylen!!"

"Hey baby, I am okay!"

"Doctors! Doctors! She is wake! "

I yell.

They rush in and tell me to step out side for a minute so they can check if everything is okay. Of course I step outside and about 15 minutes later they walk out with a smile on the face and say you can go in. I go in the room and one of the doctors follows me in.

"Is everything okay with Braylen? "

"Everything is completely fine and healthy with her and the baby. "

"Thank God!"

I hug Braylen.

"Everything is going to be okay, Braylen!"
