You ran out your house as fast as possible. Your parents were fighting again and it was about you. Your dad loved you dearly while on the other hand your mom treated you like shit. You were a few feet away from the lot and you saw your best friend, (who you were secretly in love with) Johnny Cade. You tackled him from the back. "JOHNNYCAKE!" you screamed.
Your plan failed because now Johnny was on top of you. You looked into his black sad eyes. It was getting awkward so Johnny got off of you. "Hey (Y/N)" Johnny said while smiling with one of his rarest smile. "Why are you here?" you asked Johnny curious as to why he was there.
"My folks are at it again. My mom kicked me out for good now." Johnny said with pain in his voice. You hugged Johnny so tight and never wanted to let him go. He tensed up a bit but after a couple of seconds he hugged back. "Why are you here?" Johnny asked. "My mom was about to smack me with a broom so I ran out of the house" you replied.
You felt your eyes stinging up and getting watery. "Aw don't cry. You're to pretty to cry." Johnny said while blushing a little. You smiled and turned red like a tomato. "thanks Johnnycake" you said. You both laid back and looked at the stars. "(Y/N) I gotta tell you something." Johnny said. "what is it?" you asked. "I've been in love with you for a while now and I was wondering if you would be my girl?" Johnny confessed. You felt butterflies in your stomach and your heart was thumping so loud and fast that maybe Johnny couldve heard it. "Of course I would." you replied. Johnny leaned in and so did you. Your lips were moving in sync with Johnny. You couldn't believe it. Johnny Cade was finally yours.
