"Why would you do this to me?" my mother screamed in pain as she found out that that the love of her life, and the giver of my life, has been having a secret affair for about 5 months. "You aren't the same person i fell in love with Jenna!" my father's words spoke with guilt, but honesty. All of a sudden I hear a loud thud, followed by a crash, and more yelling. I still could not comprehend what my father had done. But in his defense, my mother was not the best person in the world. Everything I ever did was to please my parents, but for my mother, it didn't cut it. " Get out of our house, you are not my father. I will never respect you!" my brother spoke in the verge of tears. He was the oldest out of the three Cruz children. In order, it would be Michael Cruz, then my older sister Maya Cruz, and then me Alexandra Cruz, but i prefer Alex. I zoned out for the rest of the argument because everything that i could hear was complete bullshit. I must've fallen asleep after that, because the next thing I know, my mother is screaming at me and telling me to pack my things. I only take whats important to me. That would be my phone, some sweat pants, and some other clothes. I was about to walk out until i heard a "meow" right next to me. I turned around disappointed in my self. "How could i forget my little kitty" i said out loud to my self. I grabbed my cat and hopped into the car. After 10 minutes of driving, we parked in front of my aunts house. I adored my aunt, but I didn't like staying at her house often. She was sweet, but also a very bossy person. she was a perfectionist, but I, on the other hand cant make a turkey sandwich properly. I walked into the living room and set my cat down to roam around. I then followed my aunt into the guest room. "So is this going to be my room for now on?" I asked. She nodded and pointed to the dresser, then she left. I settled in and changed into sweatpants and a black T-shirt. I was starving and I knew that there was a deli in the corner. I grabbed money from my bag and headed out. "Hi, can I get a turkey sandwich, with no lettuce?" "Yea, the waiting time will be 10 minutes" the server started to prepare my sandwich. I stood in the corner waiting, and on my phone. I was still holding the money for the sandwich in my hand. I dropped a quarter, and I bent down to pick it up. I look up and I see this extremely good looking guy standing right across from me waiting for his order to. Pretty much I looked at him for a long while to figure out how a human can possibly be so freaking good looking. He had shaved sides. But the top was long and was wearing a beanie which made him look hotter. And you could see how muscular he was under his leather jacket. Then I look at his face, I see light brown eyes staring back at me. Shit. He just caught me staring at him. I looked back down at my phone so embarrassed. And I took a quick glance at him again. And he was still looking at me with a smirk on his face.
