God, I'm such an idiot.
"Order 688"
Ah finally my order was ready. I walk up to the cashier. But I see a hand swipe my sandwich. "DO NOT TOUCH MY DAMN FOOD" was the first thing that came out of my mouth. I look up to meet the eyes of my food thief only to see that it was the guy I was staring down moments before. My face lightened to a pink color. He just smirked again and pulled out a pen and wrote on the sandwich wrapper. He handed it back to me, I slowly reached for it, still embarrassed for my reflexes earlier.
I grab the sandwich and walked away really fast. I checked what that guy wrote on my rapper.
" Nick 908-359-2284 text me :) "
I blushed and smiled and saved the rapper.
I got back to my aunts house which I'm guessing will be mine as well. I walk into my room and search for my phone. I saved his number and texted Nick.
"Hey it's Alex. You just gave me your number so here is mine"

"Oh hey, so I saw you looking at me and I just thought you were cute ;)"

"Oh okay :)"
I blushed looking at the screen.

"So I'm hoping that we could set up a date so we can get to know each other"

"Well I'm free tomorrow, maybe we can go to the mall at 7"

"Oh that sounds great so see you tomorrow then"

I locked my phone. And placed it down on the night stand.

I went to sleep happily with my cat in my arm. I was dreaming about the perfect date. Since I haven't been out on a date in a long time, I forgot what to do. I dreamed of us just laughing and telling stories of our past. Nick looks like the type of person who would actually listen to you if you needed help. And I'm in need of one of those people in my life.

7:00 A.M.
"ALEX WAKE UP. YOU HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL. YOULL BE LATE AND WONT CATCH THE BUS!!"

School? Oh crap, school.

"I'll be right down mother"

It will be the first day today and I honestly am not looking forward to it. The only thing I'm hoping is for Nick to be there. I don't ever over dress. So I but on some black skinny jeans, leather boots, and a black shirt, with a red and black flannel around my waist. I don't ever cake my face up with makeup either, so I just put some eyeliner and mascara and make a messy bun on my head, slip my glasses on my face and brush my teeth and head out.

"Gosh finally. I thought you'd never come downstairs Alex." My brother said in a sarcastic tone.

"I'm not in the mood for that attitude right now Michael."

"Ok ok, hop in the car I'll drive you to school just for today"

I got in his car, and the school was only 5 minutes away, so my brother and I had a short conversation about our futures.

"Alright, we're here. Now get out." He smiled "just kidding love you, and good luck, now get out"

"Haha bye mike"

I walked in, and I felt so many people eyeing me. I hated it. I looked for the office to ask for my schedule and homeroom. After what felt like forever, I asked a lady that looked like she worked here and she just smiled at me, and asked if I was new, and then told me to just keep on going straight.

I eventually found it and walked in. The lady sitting on the desk was in the middle of a phone call, and I guess it was important because as soon as I walked in, she gave me the finger signaling to "hold on a second"
