       YOUR POV

"(Y/N)!" I heard my name being called which I'm guessing it was Mingyu. I turned around to the familiar voice and it turns out I was right. I waved at him happily, running up to him. "Are you free today?" He asked in his low voice.
I nodded, "Of course. It's Tuesday. I have no practice today." Oh right, I go to archery every Tuesday, but my instructor, who goes by T.O.P, was absent today.
We began walking towards the lunch room, making our way to the table we always sat at. Taking out our study guides, we began testing each other out and had fun laughs together. We even ate our snacks there and stayed until it was time for all students and teachers to go home, this was called "Working After Hours" for the administrators because they held meetings every Tuesday late after school to discuss about events, such as the Winter Festival.
As Mingyu and I walked back home, we stopped at a shop and bought matching phone charms before proceeding.
As I stepped at the front door step with the mat reading 'Welcome Home', I turned around to face Mingyu, who had his hands in his pocket and was currently eating a lollipop. The lollipop stick, which was sticking out between his lips. I giggled quietly, looking down. "Thank you for today. It was fun studying with you."
Mingyu flashed a smile, taking out the lollipop with his thumb and index finger, and swallowed before speaking. "No problem. Anything for a friend. I'm sure if we didn't study, I would've failed tomorrow's final."
My heart sank as I heard the words, "Anything for a friend." Of course there was nothing wrong with the sentence--No grammar errors or anything out of the ordinary. It just hurts, knowing he thinks of me as a friend. He's a very nice guy, so I guess that's why a lot of girls end up crying after they study with him. He always says this to them, "Anything for a friend". I used to be that girl who didn't care for a kingka, because almost every girl in the school drooled over him. Usually a kingka had a queenka girlfriend, but he didn't have one surprisngly. And of course, what I didn't expect, was for him to get close to me. Usually the girls he studied with were just classmates who had a huge crush on him. Of course he told me he didn't like them, so he always threw out that phrase, "Anything for a friend" if he wanted to friendzone them. I smiled bitterly, before turning away to put my hand on the doorknob.

"Wait," I heard him whisper.

I turned my head and faced him again, "What is it?" I asked, but this time my tone was more harsh than usual. His expression didn't change at all, and placed his hand on my cheek. My heart began beating extremely fast. I widened my eyes, and was about to say something, but before I could--

--he kissed me.

Kim Mingyu, the kingka, kissed me.

I kissed back, closing my eyes and after a minute or so, we pulled away gently, panting.

"I like you, (Y/N)."
