      " why ? I mean this is what we both have been wanting since forever " he said sounding frustrated

After leaving Quan's house I went back to my house to get some more things so I could leave , Quan was going to let me stay with him until I got enough money to move out on my own

" Kayla where the hell have you been ?!?! " my dad screamed making me jump

" I went to Nikole's house , I told Monica " I said rolling my eyes

" You know what I'm really tired of you disrespecting me and your mother and don't call her Monica you call her mom " he said still yelling

After Kayla left I started thinking about everything she said and I figured I should just tell my mom now and hope for the best , hopefully my mom won't be like Kayla's mom and make me kill my baby

" Hey baby , how was your day ? " my mom asked coming into the house from work

" Hey momma , and it was good but I have to tell you something " I said biting my nails which has become a habit

" Well I'm all ears " she said

" Well I don't know how you're going to take this but I'm pregnant " I said not looking at her

And y'all won't believe what she did next , she started laughing like this was the funniest thing in the world and I just sat there feeling stupid

" I saw the pregnancy test in the trash can and it's only me and you here , I was just waiting for you to say something about it and now that you have tell me everything that happened to cause this " she said sitting down and looking me dead in the eyes
